then they're hired by leftist editors and station managers.

no one has to tell them 'make the conservative look bad', they do it instinctively. whether making a million from CBS or earning chicken scratch at dying local newspaper.

theoretically there should be a huge market for unbiased news that would lead to some investor(s) to bankroll alternative media, and we do see some minor news channels, but they barely appear on the radar.

print media is dying and all those dinosaurs would never change their ways.
if, say, some conservative purchased the Washington Post and told the newsroom to fix the bias, most likely everyone there would walk out, screaming 'censorship' 'no corporate media' etc.
I think many of these people are aware of the perception, but they're so closed minded and indoctrinated they attribute such to ignorant knuckle-dragging Evangelical redneck losers, cuz surely no intelligent person would vote for Trump etc.

It's important to have a free media, but there should still be consequences for lies and propaganda, just like a person has free speech but can still face consequences for libel and slander.
The likes of CNN should be fined for playing party politics IF they are lying - OR politically bias news outlets should have to use a disclaimer on their news that tells everyone that they represent a specific party.
