More rejoicing in order!

Apparently San Francisco began a solid honest effort to end homelessness in 2003.

It was a masterful 10 Year "plan".

20 years later, Homelessness still persists!!

Has anyone accounted all the "expenses" and "payouts" that went to 3rd parties that were not homeless? 😀

"All According to Plan" 👁‍🗨

As California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s 10-year plan to end chronic homelessness in San Francisco reaches its 20-year anniversary, the state continues to grapple with a growing homeless population. Despite the initial strategy involving federal funding for supportive housing units, the problem remains unsolved, and the issue has become a central point of debate in California’s political landscape.

California GOP chairwoman Jessica Millan Patterson criticized Newsom for his failure to address the homeless crisis in the state, emphasizing the need for real solutions and collaboration with Republicans. The Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) found that California is home to 30% of homeless Americans, highlighting the severity of the crisis in the state.

“Since 2020, California’s On the whole homeless population has increased about 6%, compared to just 0.4% in the rest of the country,” PPIC wrote in February. “A 17% increase in the homeless but sheltered population accounts for almost all of California’s…

For what it's worth, there have been large numbers of homeless people randomly disappearing without any rhyme or reason......

Sounds to me like they missed their initial mark and they're just trying to hurry it along now.

A for effort on San Fran's part!

They're going into the tasty "Iguana Bits".

That and likely being credited to the new McDonalds beef patty recipes.

What are you talking about; California solved its homeless problem. There are no homeless people.

Now California is trying to solve the problem of a high number of Unhoused people.

Their plan is working perfectly.

They waste about $10 Billion a year "fighting homelessness" while getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to do nothing.

The homelessness industry is booming!

Edit: And that's just California.

I'm not sure what is happening now, but I remember authorities in SF giving homeless $50 to get on a bus, that would take then northeast to the outskirts of my city. They dropped them off there, and then the bums would walk into my city and live on the streets here. I do expect that they will begin rounding them up in the future and putting them into mandatory camps, using mental illness as an excuse. Later they will use the same excuse to round up people who don't agree with them politically or religiously.

"Persists" is a huge understatement of what happened... lol Since 2016 they have spent about 50,000 dollars per year per homeless and got nowhere. The argument is the homeless system provides a ton of jobs that people do not want to lose, so the goal is never to fix it.

The good news is they have interactive maps that you can zoom down to the street level to see where you would like to live based on how much sh!t is in the streets.

The war on poverty.
The war on homelessness.
The war on drugs.
The war on terrorism.

We haven't won a god-damned war since 1945.

lol, they should do what some desert states do. Drop them off randomly in a small desert town off the highway. If they suffer from substance abuse, they should be able to find themselves lost in a dangerous environment in no time and disappear becoming no ones problem ever again.

If they are sober and steal, small town justice works pretty fast too. I often wonder just home many skeletons are awaiting discovery in every state.

That's because we don't wadge wars to win anymore.

Wars are wedged to garnish votes in the next voting cycle.

We should just replace congress with a series of focus groups.

Paying five dollars to people at the mall would probably result in more coherent foreign and domestic polic.... the sad part is that most of us when asked to participate will lie that we are to busy before going to the food court to buy a churro and dump some quarters into the claw machines.

They seemed to find a way when

China came to town.

It is all a ruse, a scam a steal.

They can not find a solution because

The problem is their means to take and bake

Take the money, bake the taxpayer
