Page Six reports that the former first lady has renegotiated her marital prenup with Trump to protect the financial interests of her son, 17-year-old, 6’7” Barron, as her husband’s legal troubles and bills pile up. Per the tabloid’s source, this is “at least the third time” Melania has renegotiated her prenup with the former president.

Mr. Trump and his wife have been married for near twenty years. During that time she has found it necessary to renegotiate their pre-nup to insure that he doesn't cut and run leaving her in the dust of his departure. Of course it could also be read to mean that he had the pre-nup put in place to protect himself from a gold digging super model who he feared would leave him and take half or more of his fortune with her. Either way it doesn't say much for the love affair.

She, according to reports has renegotiated this contract three times. As it is her that has pushed the renegotiation it would seem to me that she is squeaking as much from his eventual failure as she can by promising to continue with the image he needs to continue his political career.

However, this third renegotiation is to protect their son, This is interesting. This suggests to me that after18 years of marriage, Melania knows her husband well enough to not trust him enough to secure his own sons future without holding him to it without a legal contract.

Mrs. Trump , after 18 years of marriage likely knows him better than anyone else on the planet and she does not trust him with the future of his own son.

We already know how quickly he turns on people and tosses them away when they are no longer useful to him. How long do you suppose that he will keep fighting for you if it no longer suits his own personal needs.
