Part of the reason I come to ATS are the conspiracy theories. But holy crap, the arguments against a vaccine in this thread are frickin' crazy. Have the vax, don't have it, whatever. I'd bet if some here were around when Polio was a thing would be adamant about not getting an injection - which in the end basically ended Polio. This is definitely one of the most bizarre times in American history. One thing I think Trump did right was getting us a vaccine with a quickness. His base? "OMG NEEDLE SCARY!!!1!1!!11!"

That's a big leap 😃

I do trust my doctor. He's been my doctor for 20ish years, and he got my wife through cancer at age 23. He is a fan of the vaccines.

Don't listen to government when it comes to personal health. Listen to people who are trained in this subject.

He removed as much red tape as he could so they could bring the vaccine to the people. He wasn't in charge of how well it worked, that was the company that designed it. I remember folks laughing at him for saying he could get it done in the time frame he did.

You likely don't understand what the opposition to all this was, but it had a lot to do with the way it was forced on everyone, that wasn't a Trump thing, it was the other guy.

The bigger question is, why are all you toe suckers trying to use the vaccine you loved and wanted to force on everyone as a cudgel? trying to have it both ways?

got 1 moderna shot in first 6 months,
only wore mask when FORCED,
am in doctors office every month for other stuff
only ever got a dry cough a few times a day,
and nose runs when i lean over..

i hate wearing shoes and am barefoot unless driving
EVEN IN WINTER, living in the woods, on slushy grass,
everywhere except the raspberry field, or deep snow

puked in my lungs a few times from being stuffed at bedtime,
but smoking helped me cough hard enough to eject it

close family members stopped by while having covid,
and cousin on respirator for a week in december 2019
in central pennsylvania,,

me and wife and kids havnt gotten a second shot
or been sick at all. no plans for another shot either

now to all you CHRISTIANS.......
no need for masks. OUR FAITH WILL HEAL US
just BELIEVE. like LORD JESUS says
