International law dictates how far away from the coast a country's border extends and where international waters begin. China is the only one being Imperialistic in this region. The American goal is to keep these waters free and open to China's neighbors for fishing and shipping reasons.

The United States is determined to start a war with China. A few people will make billions of dollars from such a war so they are determined it's going to happen. American people have no quarrel with Chinese people. But there is just too much money on the table to NOT start a war. They are slobbering in Washington DC just thinking of the profit.

Look into the shipping port being built in Kiribati by China. Pretty weird stuff. Shipping lane into Antarctica? WTF?

I don't think America wants a WW3 at all. they seem to be making enough money selling weapons to other countries. Seems to me they are just keeping the shipping routes open and free. It's all about money and trade. If America wanted to expand there are many places closer and in North America that would be more viable.
Take your anti-american rhetoric elsewhere.

International disputes are the responsibility of the United Nations. If they can't do their jobs, we need to stop funding them and replace them with an organization that can.

The job of the Coast Guard is to protect our coast. They should be patrolling for drug smugglers, illegal aliens, human trafficking, etc.
The job of protecting other country's waters is that of the country involved or the Unted Nations.
