Update fyi..

Insiders are now on record describing how the FBI is run by criminals at the very top.

Source: www.cbsnews.com...

Congress will have to tell the FBI rank-and-file that their big shiny new FBI headquarters building will be delayed, due to their bosses' criminal actions. (Defying Congress, Protecting VIP Crooks, etc..)

It wasn't a leak. It was evidence used in a court case. A court case filed by Trump by the way.

as long as inquiries are related to subjects on which Congress can validly legislate

What are they trying to legislate?

Jan 6th house select committee sent out over 100 subpoenas that had nothing to do with legislation.

Does congress have the power to impeach? It seems they do. And it seems this is right along with the current investigation into the current president. Or were the last 2 impeachments illegal?

and don't worry, it was a stupid argument from the start. Whoever told you that shouldn't be listened to anymore.

Congress can't impeach for alleged crimes that occur before a person becomes President. Last time I checked, this document was from the Trump administration.

Do you dispute the fbi is now ascared of leaks and won’t bring the document to congress?

Ahahahahaha
Ahhhahahaha
Aaaaahahahahahahaha

As we all learned the House of Representatives determines what high crimes and misdemeanors are.
So yes, congress can impeach for anything they choose.

Congress is in charge of Capitol maintenance and security. The J6 committee's task was to determine the root cause of the riot and devise ways to prevent such a thing from happening again.

It's never as concretely stated as it needs to be. 'allege allege' 'sources' MSM needs to grow a pair out from under it's government masters and say it how it is.

The Supreme Court in landmark cases has broadly upheld congressional powers to conduct investigations, as long as inquiries are related to subjects on which Congress can validly legislate

where is the part that states there must be legislation ongoing? It clearly states it must be on a topic congress can validly legislate. Perhaps they are crafting a bill stating that it should be wrong to sell out your country to make your family money and they are using this as a context for the bill.

The FBI is no longer the 'Federal Bureau of Investigation'. They cannot even perform their basic tasks without political bias.

An agency under a governing body that defies it's own laws, constitution, hierarchy of authority as well as it's own purpose has gotten too big and too powerful. The only fix is to completely dismantle it. They have become out of control and are at this point a terrorist organization.

Show me where it says the crime had to be committed while in office.

Are you claiming a murder committed before he was POTUS would not be grounds to impeach him?

Edit: sorry, addressed the wrong person.... was meant for Threadbare.

The fbi denying congress access to government information is inexcusable.
There is no classification level above congress.

What other kind of money is there? Corporate money?

Comer admitted that they've found nothing illegal, albeit unethical. The best they can do is legislate against...what? Influence peddling? Lobbying?

It’s on.
NBC is reporting the particulars:

Comer subpoenaed the FBI this month for a FD-1023 form that he and Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, claim "describes an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions,” without providing further details. The FBI declined to provide the document, saying that it is bound by Justice Department policy, which “strictly limits when and how confidential human source information can be provided outside of the FBI.”

www.nbcnews.com...

There was also a cbs link earlier in the thread, the msm can’t ignore it anymore.

Well what can you do? The FBI director was hired by a Republican President who insisted he had "impeccable credentials" but now it's being said the FBI is being political because people you want charged are not, or info you want is not being given, regardless of whatever policy or investigation is going on behind the scenes? You cannot trust a President to appoint them? What is your suggestion? If you dismantle it, then what? The child trafficking rings, the guys who attempted to blow up power grids, etc, they get free reign?

Interesting you left out Wray, as all fbi directors, was confirmed by the senate.
Civics is your friend.

Interesting also the reason the former was fired.

Do you think the fbi should provide congress with information when requested?
