"Read this book, learn the lessons of it, and get #ing angry, and get revenge . . . "
The photograph of the man who said this shows him rabble-rousing with raised fist. nowthenmagazine.com...

Livingstone tells me that it’s the emotional responses to the book and the histories it details that she and Foot are most grateful for.
They're looking for an emotional response instead of rationality.

Undercover military involvement in policing protest has been extensively documented.

“Of course we supplied a lot of plain uniforms like that for the army lads to wear during the miners’ strike.”
. . .
I didn’t get the impression that this was a massive secret and when I discussed this back in my office there was a collective shrug. I have always assumed this was common knowledge.
skwawkbox.org...

It's clear the vast majority of activists in the UK are being manipulated into hating police so private security, often ex-military, can take over our enslavement. Extinction Rebellion etc. etc. are all being primed with a twisted view of our recent history.

Police must be held accountable for their actions. Military and Intelligence must be held accountable for their actions. Blaming only police for all the violence, spying, and provocateuring that has taken place is exactly what the establishment want.

Many activists consider themselves Labour supporters.

. . . the Greens in the Lords called a vote to protect journalists – for the sake of all this country’s people. It was defeated, because Keir Starmer whipped Labour peers to abstain.
. . .
Keir Starmer has been called a ‘long-time servant of the British security state’ and his affiliations have been expressed in votes to protect state agents from even such crimes as rape and murder, his attacks on environmental and human rights protesters, his support for immunity for soldiers who murdered civilians in Northern Ireland and more. So his action in the Lords vote last night should surprise no one, but his decision to whip for abstention and engineer the defeat of the motion rather vote against it directly is another manifestation of his fundamental spinelessness.
skwawkbox.org...

Fundamental spinelessness is an accurate description of 90% of the political activists I meet. They're easily led by long-time security state actors. Investigating military and Intelligence infiltration and influence is a good way for activists to become informed and effective.

This is a very prevalent strategy among "law enforcement" and "protest disruption" efforts.

It surfaces all over the west, repeatedly and unapologetically. It is almost a certainty when "political talking heads" are involved.

It is the most important reason to painstakingly and excruciatingly scrutinize ANY time you consider participating in protest activity.

Frankly, since we are talking about the disruption of free speech, it should be considered a high crime... but then "governments" never engage in this kind of behavior... right?

Did you see the recent Oxford protests against the 15minute city/xinjiang surveillance system they are implementing?

The actual protestors were bullied/shoved down the street by riots cops as usual-but there was a counter group of supposed black block/antifa/commies who the police were obviously policing "differently"(or not at all).

I thought they were blatant insiders.

The only reason our system still allows protests is to give the false impression we are free, and that protest works.
Maybe it did it days long gone, but no longer.
Millions protested the illegal Iraq debacle-what changed?

Orgreave was a bloody disgrace how they beat the miners. So those were SAS boys? Thatcher was much better than Brown or Blair but she also had her excesses.

Following the actions of some members of Black Bloc in vandalising allegedly tax-avoiding shops and businesses on the day of the March 2011 TUC march, the Home Secretary unveiled reforms[65] curbing the right to protest, including giving police extra powers to remove masked individuals and to police social networking sites to prevent illegal protest without police consent or notification.
en.wikipedia.org...

Black Bloc like to say they are not humans responsible for their actions, instead they describe themselves as a 'tactic'.

A black bloc is a tactic used by protesters who wear black clothing, ski masks, scarves, sunglasses, motorcycle helmets with padding or other face-concealing and face-protecting items.[1][2] The clothing is used to conceal wearers' identities and hinder criminal prosecution by making it difficult to distinguish between participants
en.wikipedia.org...

Useful idiots would be a ridiculously generous way to describe them.

Last time I went through Hereford, (SAS town), I was escorted by two men with automatic pistols in chest rigs. One in front attracting my attention, one behind. They play for pay.

Has no one ever questioned just where do all these police officers come from? On the one hand, when there is any crime in your area the police very rarely show up because "short of officers don't you know". Yet when there is a demonstration there seems to be hundreds about.

couple of kids just vandalised the glass case containing william wallaces claymore in an attempt to rouse the public and take protest against oil as part of some climate agenda protest
"its rigged " is the name of their group

they smashed the case with hammers then spray painted slogans on it and read out a statement

no security stopped them , they walked right into the display room with bags and hammers inside etc
smashing away making lots of noise filmed the entire thing.

Id be willing to bet it was all staged to annoy the general populace and provoke a response to ban idiotic protests and further restrict out rights to protest legally

I mean even the name gives them away. "its rigged"

Whats next attacking standing stones, smashing the stone of destiny in twa

honestly eejits
I think its all staged

it was the same in Glasgow at the weekend there last when Celtic played Rangers at Hampden
me and the wife walked through Hampden with the dogs on our way to Linn park
and it felt like every police officer in Glasgow was there on duty

I'd read that police response to incidents across the city was slow as a result.

they show up when things can seriously grow beyond their control
they dont like that we outnumber them and they know it.
thats why you cant protest outside holy rood anymore

and that climate activist interrupted the FMQ's today at the same time they smashed the wallace sword case

I'm from North East England where a lot of the striking miners came from.
I was doing a lot of travelling around the UK at the time of the strike and I honestly can't count the amount of times I was pulled over by the police, both uniformed and plain clothes.
It was common knowledge that Agent Provocateurs - soldiers and police officers - were active in the strike agitating and stirring up trouble.

Thatcher was much better than Brown or Blair but she also had her excesses.

I'd have to disagree there.
Quite a few of problems this country faces at present can be traced back to Thatcher and the policies she imposed on the UK.
Not least how she turned the UK's police forces into her own private enforcement agency.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of Bliar or Brown either.

i would argue the police have always been an extension of the gov just as the bbc is and whatever we see its an extension of gov policy regardless of whatever they claim like bush and blair engaging in a religious war that was masked by the wider establishment..

but the uk and usa are leaky sieves and the leaks are the gov's doing to. though that is made worse when you have competing factions vying for control thats where things get iffy be it the twitter files or the torygraphs lockdown files both indicate the factional conflict in both Washington and Westminster..

i see it as by thatcher's time a similar 70s conflict in the usa and uk had come to a close with new liberalism winning.. and we've had follow on copy cat prime ministers and presidents ever since and why we've struggled to tell the parties apart since thatcher..

The police are there to oversee and enforce law and order in accordance with UK Law.
I'm sure others more eloquent and informed than I will be able to give a more accurate and legal description.

They are not there to agitate and provoke conflict where laws may be broken or to create the opportunity or excuse for a government to pursue a political ideology.

Thatcher changed the very fabric of UK society - in my opinion generally not for the better.

The Ridley Plan was just the tip of the ioceberg.

their job has always be about preserving the order set down by Westminster the word agitator itself was coined to represent the military ranks and the police descend from the yeomanry.. their job has always involved agitation..

the American founding fathers had them in their ranks, Thomas Paine was paid to write his pamphlets agitating change by those close to the king, the evidence of the payments is held at the Keep outside Lewes..

a question to ponder.. how did the southern rebellions capture london and the white tower (tower of london) its because the city gates where left open even the gates to the white tower where left unlocked.. the protesters stroked the guards beards (sign of friendship) when they captured it as it was always choreographed to happen..

none of our history is natural its just staged games between wealthy factions.. leaving us poor paying the penalty for the games of the rich.. its why the rich have kept their bums of the same seats for last 1,000 years when no one else has managed a similar feat..
