To those..

I'd prefer a draw over a loss.

I'm competitive like that.

It's not a draw if you break the board for being a bad looser.....

Can't be a bad loser if it's a draw son.

I wonder if this is why they banned Dr Seuss for his Whos down in Whoville?

Which has me wondering what kind of military the US might have (or not) in the next generation or two.

No shots ever need be fired to end the US world hegemony. Many, many Trojan horses have been doing the job for decades.

China plays the long game, and US career politicians think they can keep them in check, despite the drugs, gangs, gender identity crisis, socialist indoctrination, company take-overs, etc.

Like it or not, China is a partner in the US structure, and that power is becoming imbalanced.

I seem to remember reading, quite some time ago, an article that allegedly quoted our old super-villian of the moment Klaus schwab from an article he had written. Allegedly, when discussing the (planned) more manageable world population of only about 500 million, it was stated that most of them would be Asian, specifically Chinese, due to their more subservient nature towards authority. Americans didn't factor in at all, apart from the elites of course (very select few), and those good ol' boys will be the first to go.
Some of you may make it through as the bankers, politicians and Billionaires will still need some pasty faced English speakers to serve them drinks at the country club!

China doesn't want to rule the world, they just want complete control over their citizens and to displace US dollar hegemony so they can conduct trade in their own currency that they can print

The problem with power and control is, the thirst for more never ends. If China were to get what it wants, it will not be satisfied, it will want more...and more.

Much like leftists.

Oh wait...

You missed out on the latest news though.
China is now consider sending drones and warheads to Russia. They also scheduled a joint military exercise with South Africa recently.
The commies including NK are gradually stockpiling on nuclear warheads so would having more military bases really matter so much in an all out war scenario?

Did you know that John F. Kennedy said these words - Seven Days before he was assassinated:

"There's a plot in this country to enslave every man, woman and child. Before I leave this high and noble office, I intend to expose this plot."

Guess we'll never know just what JFK had come across?

This is where AI's come in handy.

"JFK was referring to the power and influence of the wealthy elite in the United States. He believed that these powerful individuals were using their wealth and influence to manipulate the government and the economy in order to further their own interests, at the expense of the average American. He was determined to expose this plot and fight for the rights of all Americans."

I got that.

I wrote in a 'conventional war they still lose but if it turns nuclear we all lose'.

Much of that military spending plus the U.S. economy itself is built on piling amount of debt: around $90 trillion total plus $170 trillion in unfunded liabilities. And this does not include more Americans suffering economically, what's happening in Ohio, etc. More of them not only don't want to fight they want the money being sent to Ukraine used for their needs. They're also not aware that the money that their government is giving to other countries is passed on to them as debt.

China is part of BRICS and forty emerging markets and are dominating the world economy. That's why many countries aren't heeding U.S. calls for sanctions and continue to trade with Russia. Even the U.S. presstitutes are not reporting on mass protests taking place in Europe, where more are calling for withdrawal from NATO and initiating peace talks. Only the Euro politicians want war because they get a cut from arms sales, just like their American counterparts. The same goes for Zelensky and his cronies who have offshore accounts abroad.

They are all slowly moving away from the dollar because of that rising debt. Also, the reason why that debt grew so much is because the dollar was used as a global reserve currency.

With that, if the U.S. will likely be its own worst enemy. 70 pct of its economy is controlled by the very rich, and they don't care for most Americans, just themselves. They will have no qualms fleeing the country and moving to many others where they've purchased assets. The fact that they've been making deals with counterparts worldwide and outsourcing their businesses to other countries reveals that. The same goes for government officials and politicians from both parties who have offshore accounts, and whose cronies and even relatives make business deals not only with Ukrainians and Russians but even with the Chinese.

Meanwhile, the U.S. military and even police will turn on the populace, confiscating various resources to maintain operations. That's why the U.S. has one of the biggest surveillance and prison systems in the world.
