No.
I'm saying they found Uranium possibly brought in through a connection to Iran.
You know the part of the 'real events' I mentioned.

But I still don't know what your point is?

Apparently, Major General Chip Chapman take on the matter.

It happened last year and they suddenly want us to know about it.

Buddy, we are only 12 days into the new year and the incident happened on December 29 ffs.

It's not like it the entire shebang happened in the middle of last July and now they are spoon-feeding us the info.

I was clearly suggesting that there's a possibly it's not Iran, but Western skullduggery to build a narrative to invade. It's a pretty straight question; not a statement - just a question.

I'm not sure why you're struggling to get your head around it (unless of course you're simply trolling)

I was just struggling to accept that's actually a consideration one could have.
Or 'question' as you call it. Because Iran is in contrast to the US so upstanding and palladines of righteousness, or why do you think it's a question?
They love the West so much it just can't be true?

What can i say?

If you're struggling to accept the potential for scenarios that differ from msm and cling to the belief that we're always the good guys and they're always the bad guys, then maybe ATS isn't the place for you

These types of things are usually reported the day they happen or never at all.

2 weeks is a long time in the MSM.

I'm certain that this is the beginning of a larger narrative.

My first guess is that Pakistan have made a trade agreement with Russia.

Most likely oil.

Well if you're so far down the rabbit-hole you think your own country is the worst on the planet and secret machinations are all there is maybe you should take a break from ATS... or even better the internet in general.

Your idea of countering straw grasping sensationalism of MSM is with your own batch of sensationalism?
There is every reason to doubt the 'dirty bomb' there's no reason to doubt the 'import'.
Deny ignorance

What type of things? Detecting Uranium with airport scanners that could be linked to a possible terror attack is hardly a run-of-the-mill everyday occurrence.

2 weeks is a long time in the MSM.

Ever think the press may have been told to sit on the information for a week or so whilst Police carry out investigations so as to not possibly alert any would-be recipients?

I'm certain that this is the beginning of a larger narrative.

That thought goes through my head each day when i awaken.

So why the need for Uranium in the UK over alleged oil deals?

Usually not, so as not to jeopardise any current inquiries and tip off suspects, for obvious reasons, I would have thought.

National security reasons and all that.

Again, we'll see.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

If I'm right, I don't expect an acknowledgement.

That's hardly an answer as to why the need for Uranium in the UK over alleged oil deals now is it?

Can't fault that sort of logic, but still trying to work out how you came to or drew such conclusions regarding the discovery of Uranium being somehow linked to possible Russia/Pakistan energy deals.

If I'm right, I don't expect an acknowledgment.

Well if it turns out that you are correct i can't possibly see why anyone would refuse to acknowledge you were right or what purpose that may serve.

Well sh!t me.

It already happened nigh on a year ago.

Pakistan trade deal with Russia.

What I'm wondering is if this deal has been expanded.

There is more to this than meets the eye mate.

I don't think you are far wrong there, hence the reason authorities, Police, and i imagine a few alphabet agencies, will be investigating.

If the item was 'scrap metal' as described, one wonders how it became radioactive.

Cheers

Good question.

Im kind of pondering the same.

Have to wonder if there was other material or Uranium already removed, and thats how the scrap became contaminated.

Then that poses the question, why was scrap metal being transported on an aircraft?

Can you remember when our governments accused Iraq of building Weapons of Mass Destruction and then delivered them a buttload of Depleted Uranium?

I feel like this is heading in the same direction...

Exactly. I don't think scrap metal is particularly scarce in the U.K.
