Waters was only used to counting the thousands of dollars skimmed from drug busts, and extorted from businesses and churches in her run-down California district.

Democrats are desperate for deflection with the release of Twitter files.

Not even Trumps Taxes are enough to dispel that and quite frankly, no one cares?

What will they get from Trump's returns? The multipage, completely IRS audited version submitted by tax accountants. Did they think that Trump sat down at the kitchen table on April 14th and pencil whipped his tax returns?

This release does set the precedent that any official can have their tax documents released to the public, unless those who release it are prosecuted for the crime that it is. Some have cover and launder money via advances from book publishers and sweetheart deals with the media. I think that the Obama's had a deal with Netflix.

Mentioned this to a friend the other night when it got dropped, that we're literally paying to have ourselves censored and silenced. The insanity is overwhelming right now. It's like an extremely bad movie....very hard to watch.

Good Idea, set precedence and require every politician to release all of their tax returns, also the head of every agency the government supports. Maybe throw in a full list of all of the investments of congressmen coupled to a list of bills that they supported that benefit campaign contributors that supported their party or their campaign.

If they do it to Trump, they can require it of anyone anywhere, all businesses will have to publish their returns as will all citizens so scammers can get the info to know who to target.

I think we should start with the Big Pharma companies complete tax returns to cross check them with Political contributions.

The Ways and Means Committee can request and receive a citizen's tax records from the IRS if they show just cause that it is a matter of national security.

They cannot, however, release those records to the public.

Unless you can provide me a link where the Ways and Means Committee, having found just cause to request and receive a citizen's tax records can then make them a matter of public record because of a national security issue...

There may be a Prime Time Tax Release Extravaganza, where Biden's No-Binary Employees team up with the Hairy Drag Queens, and Rachel Maddow, to raise the curtains, exposing 10 foot high replicas of Trump's IRS 1040 pages 1 and 2.

Except they explicitly argued that they only wanted the records for study to create legislation...and the judge bought it...now we see it was just to leak it before they lost the house and their majority in that comity.

I mean, tax returns have little information value.

Taxation is theft at this point in the game, but if there was anything damning in the returns we would have heard about two weeks ago...however, you can't really make any determination from just the returns alone.
