By invitation, as the need arises for new moderators.
So what is looked for?

A good solid member who's shown they can stay level-headed in a heated discussion. One who genuinely cares about the board and the community here. One who shows intelligence consistently in their posts (so I'm still trying to figure out how I got it, as much as I joke around ), and of course members who have earned the respect of the membership. Oh, and that they never ever asked to become a mod....
