It was posted earlier in the thread that four investigators visited MAL in June, met with Trump's lawyers, and that Trump made an appearance.

So you think this is just the first time these sides meet? It is the first we have heard about. Once these lawyers are involved, and depending on the issue, gets expensive for those paying the bills as national security issues exist.

For Trump to get the FBI to pick up the bill, maybe he found someone he could trust there? Looks like the CIA dropped the ball a while ago. If the FBI cannot pick it up, back to basics?

I simply posted this with a comment... we are a very large community of metalheads, music transcends borders but they are usually quiet about our politics. This must be in the media over there that's all I can come up with seeing them voicing their opinion about our political situation right now.

A Biden administration fbi administered fishing expedition against his political rival is on par with anything Putin or Xi is doing.

Maybe they weren't handled like this because those Presidents complied with the first request. Clearly the National Archives are aware that other documents are missing or else they wouldn't have visited in June.

And I'm guessing we're not talking about one or two documents. I'm guessing there's still boxes of documents that are missing.

The FBI raiding Trump and somehow barring him from holding office in the future is a major win for the GOP.

I know many here really “like” Trump - and by like I mean worship the man as the only potential savior of the US. You are the minority, if that’s you. Outside of the sycophants who worship him, he’s politically dead.

Taking Trump off the table opens the door for Desantis. This is a good thing.

Do you love Trump more than you hate the Biden Admin/progressive s show the country is turning into? Most probably don’t.

Let Trump go. He had his moment. GOP has to look forward the next candidate they can bring forward, build them up, and beat the Dems in 2024.

The blind love for the orange man is why the GOP lost in 2020. Don’t put a loser back on the ticket - you’ll lose - and the GOP needs to win.

GOP should be thankful for this gift from the FBI.

If you think this was a spur of the moment thing based off one photo, I don't know what to tell you. A warrant of this magnitude would have taken weeks to put together.

Please provide ANYTHING showing non compliance.
The requested documents were returned in FEBRUARY.
Especially ANYTHING with exigency requiring the assistance of law enforcement.

In no reality is it acceptable for the current US presidential administration to raid the home of a former president and posible reveal in the coming presidential election.

In the US we tolerate the possibility of a crook of a ex president to live free so that we do not even appear to be dabbling in political persecutions. It is this mentality that is supposed to set us apart from countries we call our enemies.

Twice in a year at least the FBI had been mobilized to raid private citizens on pretense that NEVEE BEFORE would have been allowed

If it is not absolutely clear the Washington 3 letter agencies are now completely mobilized against any private citizen or entity that doesn't toe the line

I don't knownwhT could make it clearer. All these entities need to be audited and dismantled

Hard to say. We have not seen the warrant posted yet. Rest assured that Trump has a copy. And we may not see it posted because it might be detailed to things of National Security and would look suspicious if those things were blacked out while leaving things like the Christmas Story’s Little Orphan Annie Decoder Ring listed. Any reports of lots of boxes being removed like every other time the FBI raids a place for papers? Videos show many cars with lights on scene but I didn’t see any box trucks. So maybe the retrieval wasn’t as big as the show?

Edit to answer the other question: Maybe the staged photos were released ahead of the raid for the low info crowd to latch onto as why the raid was justified? Saving classified documents from destruction. Keep in mind that even napkin sketches by a POTUS are classified by the National Archives as historically significant.

All men are supposed to be equal under the law. Unless there's a law somewhere in the USC that I missed that codifies a former President having legal immunity, why should Trump not be held to the same standard as you or me?

This site always complains about the being a two-tier justice system, except when it comes to Trump. Then they demand one.
