According to the BBC, a watch by German Nazi leader Adolf Hitler was sold in the United States for $1.1 million.

" A watch said to have belonged to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler has sold for $1.1m (£900,000) at an auction in the US.

The Huber timepiece, which sold to an anonymous bidder, shows a swastika and has the initials AH engraved on it.

Jewish leaders condemned the auction ahead of the sale at Alexander Historical Auctions in Maryland.

However the auction house - which has sold Nazi memorabilia in the past - told German media its aim was to preserve history."

The United States at one time was one of the organizers of the Nuremberg trials, and now it supports the Ukronazis and trades in Hitler's things. Let me remind you that the only countries that opposed the UN resolution condemning the rehabilitation of Nazism and fascism and their modern manifestations were the United States and Ukraine. We can see the result every day.

Thank you.

Fun Fact:

1.1 million for a watch Hitler never wore

Once again, an object allegedly belonging to Hitler's private collection has been auctioned off for millions. In the U.S., a wristwatch was offered whose origin is questionable and which does not fit the dictator's lifestyle.

USSR started using nazi concentration camps ,and even used the equipment from camps in other locations in Russia , so clearly from day 1 after WW2 ended Russians did not have any problem about using nazi origin equipment...

Come on mate, this is really all you’ve got? Someone bought Hitlers watch in the US? Absolutely grasping at straws and looking more foolish with each
post.

“Your dictator murders his critics and rivals”

“Yeah!? Well someone in YOUR country bought Hitlers watch!”

However Russia are happy to use Hitler artifacts as a tourist attraction.

A Red Army worker wipes dust from an exhibit including Adolf Hitler's uniform at a museum in Moscow. After 50 years of being locked up in a basement, Hitler's uniform and boots went on display Friday with one of Herman Goering's overcoats and other relics of Nazi Germany to mark the 50th anniversary in May of the end of World War II in Europe. "Some suggested showing Hitler's jacket just tossed on the floor all crumpled up," said Col. Alexander Nikonov of the Russian military's museum. "But no museum in the world does this

Just keep posting your " double standard " articles, they are quite laughable.

Museums preserve historical facts, and the auction sells them.

You don't know the things that every schoolboy in civilized countries knows.

By the way, Australia abstained from voting at the UN on a ban on the rehabilitation of Nazism.

The Red Army liberated Buchenwald. But since he was part of the zone of American occupation under the Yalta Treaty, he left almost immediately. The Americans were in charge.
Your "historical source" does not even know such elementary facts.
By the way, many of the same American "historical sources" claimed that Buchenwald was liberated by American troops.)))

It's a watch, it belonged to a very bad man, so what.

People are putting way to much store in trinkets and objects and symbolism.

Can you say this openly to the leaders of 48 Jewish organizations who are outraged and condemned this fact?

I asked for historical sources, not custom-made articles in the yellow press.
Do you understand what a "historical source" is?

Yes, and in Russia there are Nazis and they collect and sell Nazi paraphernalia. But these are individual people, and not at the state level, as in the USA.

In Russia, public display and sale of Nazi paraphernalia is a criminal offense.
