Okay should I ask, what are the facts and truths about God as you
have reasoned them out?

Dear Randy, my thread is on "The difference between God from revelation and God from reason."

From my reasoning on God, I have landed into this definition of God:
"God is the permanent self-existent creator and operator of man and the universe and everything transient."

There, that definition contains all the facts and truths about God.

The facts about God are all the acts He did to have brought into existence man and the universe and everything that is not God Himself.

And the truths about God is that God is omnipotent, omniscient, eternal, and all other attributes which describe God as all good and all holy.

Dear Randy, I have told you what are the facts and truths about God, which I deducted from reasoning as distinct from grounding myself on revelations of God contained in the Bible.

I seem to notice that you are what I might call a biblical Christian, i.e. your doctrines and moral injunctions are based on the Bible.

My observation is that the Bible is full of mysteries.

What do you consider to be the most challenging mystery in the Bible, I mean most difficult to believe because it is so patently against reason.

I believe the Bible itself is a miracle and certainly not one word is
against or without reason. It makes perfect sense that there is a Creator.
Just following that same line of sense should tell us the word impossible
couldn't possibly apply to him who speaks and creates the universe.
In other words if the Bible weren't the truth? It would be easier to believe.

Dear Randy, thanks for your reply.

You say:
"In other words if the Bible weren't the truth? It would be easier to believe."

I am at a loss to understand your text above.

In simpler language - but correct me if I am wrong, are you telling me that:
"Even if the Bible is false, still you will find it easy to believe everything in the Bible"?

No! That is absolutely not what I want you to understand.
I did think you would have trouble with what I'm trying to reveal to you.

So!

Ask yourself, why would anyone on Earth write something so unbelievable
( As the Scriptures ) and expect them to be believed? Surely such a plot
conspired by human beings would come up with a much more believable story.

But it is what it is because Jesus Christ is the truth.
The life and the only way to the Father. With out Jesus
there simply is no truth no life and no way.

It isn't even a discussion.

That is for me the greatest mystery with God from revelation, unlike God from reasoning, namely, that with God from revelation, one has got to go to Jesus to arrive at God.
