Even now in this day of age???

What are we talking here like Ruchazie Drumchapel Easterhouse type places?

My wee granny and grandpa made it to 91 a piece or their abouts, smoked and drank all there life's, loved chip pans, and they were from Rutherglen and the Gorbals respectively.

I did somewhat do the Van Wilder experience for as long as i could muster turretless.

I think much of the Cold War civil defence system has now been dismantled or even turned into tourist attractions.

I can tell you in the event of a nuclear war HMNB Clyde Faslane would be a prime target and that just one Russian Satan 2 plus accompanying warhead payload could pretty much blanket our wee nation in nuclear fire from one end of the isle to the other.

That url is not working my end for some reason.

As to Catholics, well there all over Scotland just like there Protestant cousins, its not really a thing these days bar football and even that's frowned upon.

We know about religious warfare and daft hatred in spades if that what you are asking.

But there are probably more Catholics in Scotland than there are Protestant(im one of those) if im honest.

I have worked at those bunkers you are on about ,not in Glasgow but 2 of my work buddies did and we shared stories, there's was rather interesting about the length of tunnels a mile past each end of Glasgow was what I was told by them and I would take with a pinch of salt that they had been dismantled ,the one I worked in up here scared me it was that big and there's a lot more up here than people realise under there feet

Loads of old tunnels that extend under the Clyde from the likes of the old Govan ship works and church used as bomb shelters in WW2

I was helping to paint the basement of one of the old churches back in the 90s and we got to look down in to the place.

Rats everywhere, old brick work with water poring down from the celling, i did not dare venture any further than about 20ft and the smell. LoL

I had to read who is Van Wilder and what is HMNB Clyde Faslane.

I think that soon your civil defense system will be resumed.

What I showed is called the Glasgow Cathedral.

From your answer, I did not understand what kind of relations between Catholics and Protestants exist now in Glasgow?

I can assume that religious fervor has declined due to the loss of the degree of faith that was once in the past.

And I almost forgot to ask the main male question!

Do you produce local beer and other alcohol?

Yip that was not that many years ago that I read about what life expectancy was in the poorest areas of the city .

Funny you should mention about the older generation ,they went through hell and lived like crap smoked like chimneys ate poorly and lived to ripe old ages most of them .

Now 12 year olds are 6'5 and the kids are Hugh and dropping like fly's

I saw the one under the rotunda casino down near the secc you could see the lines from the carriages that had been worn out over the years and as you say not maintained for a long time and letting in water badly ,that door got shut quickly

Doubtful we are hard pushed to afford our leckie bill right now never mind nuclear bunkers.

Plus like i suggest in the event of a full blown nuclear exchange the UK gets glassed with Faslane being quite a big prime target because of what stored there and the facilities where our subs are concerned, both UK and US.

Ive been to Glasgow Cathedral, very pretty, i prefer the transport museum if I'm honest.

I think its safe to say the religious fervour have significantly declined since the likes of the past, certainly a lot different form the 80/90s that i can remember.

They used to make Tennent's lager at the Wellpark Brewery, dont know if they still do or if that counts.

Still smell the Whiskey bonds down the likes of the Gorbals when i walk the dog so they must still make that i suppose.

I seen a few wee bams magnet fishing in the Clyde at 3am last weekend where two of them fell in trying to pull whatever it was they were after, don't know if that counts but it seemed rather ""adventurous"" to me.

Did I understand you correctly that drug addicts caught something at night in your river?

If they started to catch you, then it would definitely be quite an adventurous incident.

I don't suppose the cheap smack and fake Valium epidemics that plague such areas help much with respects to longevity.

Wee guy i went to school with got buried Friday, that was an overdose, did not really want to ask what with.

Kids don't really smoke much these days same as they did when i was at school far as i can establish, that's got to be a good thing all the same.

Some areas of Glasgow have a life expectancy of 52 , you need to have a sense of humour to survive there in those circumstances

I don't know what "those circumstances" are there.

You mean that there are often attacks on old people?

What is Forsyth?

Have you ever lived in such houses? - www.google.ru/maps/@57.6754139,-2.9700346,3a,75y,338.43h,86.22t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sE'___'3qv0WvMWbkL0pW6fZg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?hl=en

Is it comfortable to live in these stone houses?

Yes and with a magnet no less! Or so they were shouting at one another before they fell in.

Rather industrious little non educated delinquents by my guesstimation.

I don't know if they were drug addicts per-say more like mad wine fiends but not dangerous.

Most Junkies where i hail from are harmless enough to be honest.

More of a danger to each other rather than the public, the government keeps them toped off with meth which seems to take the edge off their sad little life's.

Suppose you do get the odd mad bastards, but you get them everywhere.

It seems to be the normal these days with all the crap coming from the dark web ,just since COVID I know of about 10 who snuffed it with pills and potions and all a lot younger than me .

A tin of beer and a joint is still at number 1 for me as my way to relax ,I did tan a litre of bells the other night after visiting my aunt in hospital .

I was going to tan it tonight to celebrate living 5 years on from a major heart attack ,and also exactly 4 years ago to tonight I had number 6 ,yip 6 in exactly 1 year the chances of living 5 years I was told by a cardiologist was 3%. , Still here

What are your taxes used for then?

Why are you so brief on such an important issue?

Tell me what types of whiskey you produce.

Im to old and long in the tooth for most of the pills and potions on offer these days stonerwilliam.

Plus when the comedown outweighs the party time, its time, to "just say no".

The beers and that other thing i would never say no to all the same.

Quit smoking cigarettes about 16 months back now all the same.

Rather proud of myself on that score if I'm honest, plus fags are spensive as feck in this day of age.

Methadone.

They give junkies methadone here in the UK which kind of takes the edge off their condition for some .
