Under new plans by the government in the coming weeks single men crossing the Channel to illegally enter England will find themselves on a plane heading for Rwanda where their asylum status will be decided , in the last 24 hours 181 migrants in six boats have been intercepted heading to our shores and as last year saw record numbers this year is shaping up to break those records , a deterrent is needed and the prospect of risking your life to end up in Rwanda is that deterrent.

The government's plan to send illegal migrants to Rwanda is an "egregious breach" of international and refugee law, the UN's refugee agency has warned.

Home Secretary Priti Patel this week signed a deal with the East African country to fly some people who illegally arrive in the UK there to seek asylum instead.

Now the UN refugee agency was weighed in with its opinion that what the UK is planning is a breach of International and refugee law even though a similar system has been operated by Australia for some time now .

Ms Triggs, who is Australian, was asked about the similar offshore immigration system in her country.
"My point is, just as the Australian policy is an egregious breach of international law and refugee law and human rights law, so too is this proposal by the United Kingdom government," she told the BBC.

"It is very unusual, very few states have tried this, and the purpose is primarily deterrent - and it can be effective, I don't think we're denying that.

"But what we're saying at the UN refugee agency is that there are much more legally effective ways of achieving the same outcome."

I'm pretty sure it can and will be effective and the government has my wholehearted support for this plan , at last we are seeing some tangible effort to stem the flow of this endless stream of people who think they are free to circumvent the legal avenues to enter our Country.

In an interview with The Guardian, Lord Dubbs said he believed the agreement breaches the 1951 Geneva convention on refugees.

"I think it's a way of getting rid of people the government doesn't want, dumping them in a distant African country, and they'll have no chance of getting out of there again. You can't just shunt them around like unwanted people."

Dear Lord Dubbs , they are unwanted people who through their illegal act are costing this country many millions of pounds at a time when the legal residents of this country are facing the biggest fall in their income in living memory due to tax and price rises , hard for a Lord to understand I guess.

Dear sandal wearers ... STFU.

There is a very easy solution for the ‘refugees’ to avoid the possibility of being sent to Rwanda for processing, stay in France.

How can illegally jumping the queue for economic reasons be supported by anyone, surely this happening is hardly helping those refugees that are in real danger and are escaping real harm. I have been to France many times and would hardly rate it as that bad I would risk my life to leave.

Good. Not that long ago I saw some shared post on Telegram ,a photo taken from a plane flying a banner ' whites will be a minority in the UK by 2025' . Maybe this has something to do with that ? Woke some people up , or objective (elimination of whites ) achieved

First of all I am going to point out that I am NOT racist but there are some very interesting comment's on here.

My opinion Patel made a bad deal with the French whom are NOT holding up there side of the deal and are taking British money and laughing at us while letting and even escorting migrants into British Waters, our own border Agency which was supposed to be turning them back was even escorting them here which is even worse and yes there are some very tragic story's.

My concern with Rwanda is simple they have poor human rights and of course we all remember there own internal racism BUT other than that the basic principle is a good one and one that is going to make our nations LESS palatable to foreign migrant's looking for an easy life since they will then know they face being deported to Africa.

Of course for Rwanda it may actually end up playing in there favour, increase there population AND skill base as well as giving them plenty of new and often quite intelligent driven people all they have to provide is opportunity's and there country will be set to be the next Kenya as well as making them more ethnically diverse and dynamic as a society though undoubtedly at first the deportee's will be second class there if that.

I am against inhumanity to our fellow human being's BUT there are many of these migrants whom we really do not want here and it is impossible quite often to find out whom they really are and were they are really from.

Then there is this.
www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk...
The DISGUST mentioned by the Reporter in that story is actually a fallacy as many in the UK have seen our society change in there own lifetimes, quiet English street's turn into little Pakistan's and generational family's being displaced by ethnic migration that will indeed displace us in our own nation.

It is happening because of two thing's, disparity in birth rates with them having far more children than we are having and disparity in legal and social welfare right's with welfare agency's more likely to target WHITE BRITISH claimants and far less likely to target these minority's for fear that they will then be accused of racial discrimination a mental disease that has spread throughout our government institutions and been backed up with misguided policy's such as so called PRO DISCRIMINATION which is actually if translated a legal obligation to discriminate against ethnic white British males in favour of each and every minority group out there even though some of them are no longer minority's in any real sense of the word.

So we are destined to become the minority in our nation within less than a century from today.

It is a trend repeated in many European nations with Scandinavia having literally destroyed it's own future through similar policy's.

Now I am a Christian and so I rile against anything solely based on race or colour or ethnicity BUT when it comes to religion I can only see disaster and future oppression for anyone that still claims to be a Christian in our nation in the future.

Charles the future monarch (even if he is patently NOT suitable and it should pass directly to Harry) is already planning to drop the title Defender of the Faith and to replace it with Defender of the FAITH's (what Faith's would those be I wonder giving his frequent trips to Saudi Arabia in the past and close friendship with the likes of scum bag child abusers like Jimmy Saville?).

So no it is not racism to speak the truth but it is unacceptable to the (if I may borrow the American euphemism) woke BLT (Sorry I MEAN LGTB+IS+PRO PEDO RIGHTS) Crowd.

I have no problem with people coming here regardless of there colour so long as they are Christian and willing to live in a BRITISH Manner and respect the house in which they are the guest and I truly believe citizenship should NOT be granted but rather a right to stay and Citizenship should only be granted to those born here OF settled parent's and then only if they are raised to an acceptable standard and in our culture and traditions.

Lastly GENUINE Asylum seekers in danger of there lives and of genuine persecution SHOULD NOT BE SENT TO RWANDA but every other tom dick and harry trying to get an easy life at our expense and to take our nation from OUR Kid's should be (Cast not your pearl before Swine lest they then turn and tear you to pieces afterwards), pay Rwanda for there trouble and make it worth there while as well.

If it can be shown that they are beneficial to our nation then there deportation should also be given more consideration BUT letting everyone in so some FAKE do gooder can claim he or she is doing the right thing (WRONG) is a betrayal of our own children and the future generations of our nation and they are signing OUR nations death warrant by what they are doing to us.

If the UN really gave a damn they'd do more to support refugees and economic migrants at the points of entry into Europe.

As far as I see it the French are directly responsible for every person drowned attempting the crossing. I can understand the want to come here whether it's for financial reasons or having family in the UK.

The sad reality is if they went through the proper channels their trip to the UK would be a lot safer and probably cheaper... Exploitation of the undocumented is rife.

I personally think we could do a lot more to make our immigration policies work better for us and foreigners wishing to work here. We should be inviting economic opportunities on a macro and micro level.

Opportunities to bring prosperity, there's definitely a fruitful balance to strike.

Good.
Bollocks to 'em.

Immigration can be both good and desirable, the UK has benefited from it.
Open door immigration policy has been disastrous and the failure of successive governments to address it has been bordering on the criminal.
Lets hope this isn't just yet another empty political soundbite from this administration and it will deliver upon its promises?

We'll see.

Good the U.K. physically cannot take anymore immigration

I’m not against immigration in any way shape of form but this is a joke, overcrowding is a massive issue in the U.K. for everyone including immigrants who themselves will tell you they’re extremely unhappy, many parents sleep in the living room or children grow up sleeping in with their parents

The U.K. housing system is completely shattered

Again it’s the champagne socialist who keep advocating for mass uncontrolled inconsiderate intolerable depressing mental health spurning immigration, they don’t listen to anybody, they see immigration as their role in the wolf saving everybody from fake wars because for some reason they think they’re to blame for being wealthy rich liberal snobs

I live in the most multicultural city in Europe, absolutely nobody here wants any more immigration NONE

At least until we get a hold of the past 20 year influx

Where I grew up, on the edge of a town now city, as a child I used to open my window and there was nothing but forests and farmer fields, now as far as the eye can see is a concert jungle

16,000 homes have gone in within the last few years, 100,000 are going in over the next 4 years

The town used to be 250,000 it’s now also
At double the size, everything I remember as a child has completely changed, even people who lived here for 20/30/40/50 years, who moved out 5 years ago are getting lost, the change is staggering and yet we still have family’s living in rabbit hutches, they cannot physically build enough housing to keep up with immigration

And it’s not just this town/city is all over the U.K.

If you’re Syrian or Ukrainian, welcome, the rest who aren’t actually legitimate refugees but financial migrants you’re not welcome, sorry it’s just that bad right now

Unless these leftwing lunatics want to chip in to build more homes or affordable housing, while in your empty 8 bedroom mansions STFU

Despite what I said earlier the words of the archbishop Justin Welby of the Anglican church are the truth.

It DOES go against Christ in every single way so I have to withdraw any support I may have mentioned previously and made in error due to my own personal bias, the Lord owns this world not I and we are ALL his children.

This week the government will tell the first group of illegal migrants that they could be on their way to Rwanda.

Now the first people are being notified of the government's intention to relocate them under the new migration and economic development partnership where their claims will be processed in Rwanda, although it's unclear when they will be put on flights.

If successful, they will be granted asylum or given refugee status in the country. Those with failed bids will be offered the chance to apply for visas under other immigration routes if they wish to remain in Rwanda, but could still face deportation.
