The May 27th meteor is actually an asteroid. It won't be visible to the naked eye and will be about 10 times further away than the moon. It's estimated to be as big as the Empire State building, however it shouldn't pose any danger to us at all.

Also - I have had on and off issues with what is called "exploding head syndrome". In most cases (mine included) it literally sounds like a nearby explosion and normally happens as you're drifting off to sleep or just prior to waking up, but it's all in your head. Did the trumpet blast you heard happen when you were dozing off or right before you woke up? Because it may be exploding head syndrome if so. Otherwise... well here's to hoping it wasn't a trumpet blast as depicted in revelations - I hope I've checked out long before any of that happens!

I've had a couple of wake-ups in my life in which I thought a loud noise had happened. One was like an explosive blast.

It sounds like a neurologically caused auditory hallucination. Similar to the kind of singular muscle spasms that also can occur when falling asleep:

RE Dams: My friend/CEO in Eastern Europe (mining etc) is Ex Mil. was defending a a dam in Syria a few years ago (cant remember who from). We depend on our sensory input, but the final perceptual experience is a montage processed and assembled in our brain. There can be many kinds of distortions in that complex neurological, chemical, electrical process. To a certain extent, we all live in a simulation. Ideally, it is a very accurate simulation, but it isn’t always perfect.

For a short time I was taking one of our not so glorious prescription medications that had a known side effect of auditory hallucinations. I heard loud knocks and my name being spoken (one or the other). This happened when I was falling asleep or waking up. It was so real that several times I got up to see if there was someone at my door.

When I quit the medication, it stopped happening. But it was indistinguishable from real external sounds.

I had seen it reported that several "truthers" went dark and were supposedly asked to or ordered to. Not sure if they were at a meeting or some other event but I have seen various lists of people that stopped reporting over the weekend and have not posted yet. I thought Phil said he would be dark 3-5 days depending on how things went. I thought I had seen something where this was for "truthers that were in the know" whatever that means.

It’s concerned that without interoperability, individual central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) could create new domestic silos, fragmenting the global payment landscape.

If SWIFT and Cap Gemini solve the interoperability issue, I expect the CBDC move to continue at warp speed ahead until the next blockage.

I worked a long time at Capgemini; from Analyst to business unit head... was also involved with implementing SWIFT interfaces to Bank of England back in the day.

I assume Capgemini was chosen for their Accelerated Solution Environment process, which cuts down time to market significantly by locking stakeholders in a room with a facilitator until a workable solution is agreed.

I remember that but I only follow a few people anyway due to various reasons so I am not tracking a bunch of people so I have no idea the number that “went dark”.

One guy I did see that went dark as well was Jason Q. I know a lot of people don’t necessarily like him but I like the way he thinks and helps me look at things in a way I normally would not have.
