I am not trying to be a pompous ass American but we are going to have to save the damm world.

We are the only country left with any means of defense from the tyrants.

So you know exactly what you are being-pompous American,I see you also don't do modesty.
Save the world?Yeah right, late as usual and wait till most of the dirty work is done.
And let's not mention make money off both sides.

Should have never let them have your guns.

I really dont know how you can win Canadians if they pass this.

Umm you can own a firearm in Canada.
You just have to smart enough to know how to obtain one and not be stupid.

"Not be stupid" as in willing to ride your horse over elderly Mohawk women, call them racist and white supremacist MAGA supporters because they don't want to be forced to either take a shot of dubious benefit or not be "tolerated because they take up some space"? You know what's funny about what I just wrote, upon reflection ... if anyone's ancestors know what it's like to not be tolerated for "taking up some space", it would be hers too.

What comes next in not being stupid? Is it when you turn a blind eye to people being loaded up on cattle cars to be shipped off so they don't continue to "take up some space"?

I wish Canada all the luck they will need once the dictatorship with emergency powers get established. With the statement on dissenters from parliament Trudeau could be hinting going after the opposition.

And the citizens.

Usually that is how dictatorship takes hold, by the time people get to see something is odd, is usually too late.

Never trust the government, they are all bough and pay for by everybody else but the people that vote them in power.

Watching now.

The Conservatives and the Bloc sound like nays and the Liberals and NDP sound like yays.

The main argument from the Libs is that something may happen so we need it to still be in force.

The Bloc and the Conservatives say the criteria for enacting it weren’t met and that everything is under control.

If this is a vote in the confidence of the government then all Libs will vote for it in fear of getting kicked out of caucus.

The NDP will go along with the Libs to keep a Leftist government.

Only three of our provinces wanted the act invoked in the first place.

Stay tuned

I am stunned by the turnaround of the bloc. The Bloc and the Conservatives are right about that criteria for enacting it weren’t met.

So it’s tonight by 8 pm I think.
Did JT set it up that then he has a confidence vote in place so he can’t be outed?
We do not want to trigger an election': Emergencies Act vote seen as a confidence vote

I think we’re screwed on this one.

Yes, once again the politicians are worried about their own butts instead of the Canadian people.

I wouldn’t expect anything else from the whole lot of them.
