Some more information and statement from the driver.
"My instant thought was to protect the woman who was being stabbed and the public who were also being threatened. The vehicles ahead of me moved off, which gave me the opportunity to intervene.
"I drove my vehicle towards the attacker in order to get him away from the woman he was attacking. I did not intend to harm the attacker. I only intended to protect those being attacked."

Hero.
Hopefully they'll drop the charges.
Too bad there wasn't a riding mower handy, hehe.
Agreed, for once!

Because they have knives, a lot of knives.
Yeah....most of them are in the kitchen or the shed etc.
Really the UK can't pretend to be so virtuous because they ban guns.
Err, we don't see ourselves as 'virtuous'.....we just don't need or want lots of guns.
Keep yours....I honestly don't care.
Go to a park in the UK ands search around on the ground near bushes etc. You will find tons of hidden knives.
Will you?
I take my Grandson to parks regularly - in the summer possibly two or three times a week.
I tend to have a bit of a stroll around whilst he plays with his mates.....never once found a knife.
Never heard of anyone finding a knife.
Perhaps you could tell me where I'm going wrong?
