Rush Hour Horror In West London Woman Stabbed To Death And Man Killed By Vehicle

A woman has been stabbed to death and a man killed after being hit by a vehicle in West London.

Police have launched an "urgent investigation" after being called out to Maida Vale about 9am on Monday.

Ambulance crews and firefighters were also sent to reports of a stabbing, and when they arrived they found a man had been hit by a vehicle.

Emergency workers managed to free him but both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident/incidents apparently happened at around 9am this morning.

Im just wondering if or how the stabbing and Man killed by a car are connected?

People rip the USA for guns. But if you are 80 years old, would you rather live in a society with guns where you can carry one to protect yourself and possibly shoot someone who has their own gun trying to kill you. Or would you rather deal with knives and some drug addict twice your size and half your age trying to kill you?

That basic problem is why I would rather live in a society that's armed to the teeth instead of one where most people are helpless and have to rely on everyone else following the law for you to be kept safe.

Fact of the matter is that the majority of the people on this island nether wish nor require firearms to be available in the same to similar manner they are in other nations.

Its something the majority of the population actually agree on here in the UK.

A similar incident happened with a nut driving over people with a vehicle here in Toronto which a cop actually removed his weapon against protocol and talked the assailant out of the vehicle.

Cop put his gun away...
He should have shot him on site IMO.

Tragedy either way in both cases.

The murder rate in The U.S. is 4 times higher than that of The U.K.

So much for Americans being armed.

We don't really know much about this incident yet, comparatively speaking.

But i tend to agree if some a-hole is running people down with a vehicle probably best to kill him first and ask questions later.

However, and at a glance, it looks like the nutter wanted to be killed hence his "Kill Me" statement to the officer.

If killing him would save more people ok, else why give the dirty wrong'yins what they want and death by cop seems to be rather pertinent.

I should probably add, i would need to subscribe to read the entirety of your article.

Yea he did want to die apparently.

I just thought he shouldn't have had the chance to express his wishes.

I'd expect that these nuts must consider death a very probable outcome for themselves, and rightly so imo.

It's an epidemic Callyrox but they only report it in national news / the papers when it's in Lon don and is committed by either gangster rappers or Islamic Jihadists. It's total mayhem on the streets of the Midlands knife slayings all over the place but it never makes national news as it doesn't fit the above agenda

News report on TV just now says he stabbed her and in the struggle (?) ended up in the road and hit by car.

Very little in the way of detail yet.

I suppose it's possible that it was an accident or that the driver witnessed the stabbing and wanted to intervene somehow but we will have to wait and see what further information comes later.

And then their is the likes of Glasgow where we don't exactly have the best of track records where knife crime and murder is concerned.

The problem is nation wide across the island like you suggest and not just happening in the capitol.

To many kids with nothing to do out playing war with the mothers kitchen knifes is the real issue as opposed to it being gangster rappers and/or Islamic Jihadists imho.

If in doubt well the statistics speak for themselves.
