SCOTUS strikes down OSHA vaccine mandates

I just saw this pop up on a breaking news feed, but the only article I can find so far is on Zero Hedge.

Supreme Court Blocks Biden's OSHA Vaxx Mandate

Despite the misinformation spewed firth by Justice Sotomayor, The US Supreme Court has block the Biden administration's vaccine-or-test rule for US businesses, but allows vaccine mandate for most health care workers.

Basically, it's a question of authority. The SC rules 6-3 (all the conservative justices) that OSHA does not have the authority to order people to take the vaccine. Trying to stretch "worker safety" to include medical decisions simply stretches credulity too far.

However, they also decided 5-4 (the liberal justices, with Roberts as the swing vote) that healthcare facilities that accept Medicare or Medicade payments can force their workers to get vaccinated.

So the federal govt can lawfully dictate mandates to private hospitals and other Healthcare businesses if they accept Medicare, medicade.

I have a suspicion that this one will go through the law pipes once again for exactly that slippery slope reason.

Im hearing that the hospitals are going nuts in my community. Overrun with CoVID.. I spoke to my dr about cancelling a non-optional surgery next week. She said its due to not enough staff, not due to too many patients.

How dumb can these justices be to carry on the stupidest move by the admin yet. Firing health care worker in a pandemic. What WILL they think of next.

A big portion of the staff are probably out with China Virus, whether they've been jabbed or not. Another big portion is probably picking up Locums jobs for triple or quadruple their normal pay in areas already hit by the virus and without much to really do. The remainder are overwhelmed.

ETA: It's why in some jurisdictions they're allowing CV-positive staff to come back to work after a very minimal quarantine.

It's Obama are with extra steps. Mandate something into existence and the profit potential goes through the roof. All at the added expense of your Healthcare premiums.

OSHA is not a an entity that is elected by the people, actually it was unconstitutional the powers that the corrupted biden administration in behave of the CDC lap dogs of pharma wanted to give them.

What people does not understand is the whole big picture of what the covid money making scam has become to the point that people have been coerced into experimental injections in order to keep the job.

Be dam all those that thinks is all good and right, maybe in a communist or socialist country or those countries with dictatorship where people do not have any voice on government oppression.

So basically businesses/hospitals who take in Medicaid/Medicare payments, their employees must be vaccinated?

They've been doing so since Medicare and Medicaid came into existence. Healthcare providers undergo annual audits by the government to ensure they're in line with the rules surrounding Medicare & Medicaid.

My daughter told me that nurses are been paid, 100 dollars for anti gens therapy infusions give at home, I forgot to ask her who is paying for this in home infusions, because is not the regular joes.

You'd need more than the three liberal Justices and Roberts to get to 5, which is where Kavanaugh came in.

You know I found the mandates to be sketchy enough in the first place but to find out they where being carried out under OSHA was a real WTF moment. Like there all about wearing helmets and making sure you have safe wiring and are not slipping all over a floor what the heck are they doing getting invovled with clot shots?
