It would make more sense, if ET have their version of The James Webb Telescope to seek out life in the universe. If they found life on Earth, it would be safer to send unmanned vehicles to Earth to explore and report back what they found.

Many UFO sightings have been reported, but as far as we know there has never been direct contact with an alien species.

This is how my thinking is at present.

Of coarse they would, we send probes to other planets why wouldn’t they?

That is what i am saying. Probes yes, aliens themselves visiting, no.

And maybe they never will.

We find out soon enough, brother.

Just gotta point that JWST at TRAPPIST1 and give it a minute.

Especially when you think about the size of the craft versus the distance traveled. Most UFOs really don't seem big enough to have traveled such extreme distances.

But even if they are all unmanned drones, that wouldn't necessarily mean that the beings themselves are still back on their home Planet. They could be sending out those drones from their Mothership, which could possibly still be headed directly towards us.

One thing I've often wondered about is the effect that our atmosphere and Earth's gravity might have on an Alien craft or on the Aliens themselves. We have in the past had many problems re-entering our own atmosphere.

Imagine what it would be like for an Alien race to have completed such an incredibly long journey to get here, only to burn up while attempting to enter our atmosphere.

We may have even seen it happen, and assumed it was a meteor burning up, but it was instead highly intelligent yet unprepared Alien beings dying right before they crossed the finish line.

Many have speculated that grey aliens are actually very advanced bio-engineered AI robots or otherwise life like artificial intelligent robots better suited for space travel

No aliens; too far, too early in the universe.

No such thing as unmanned interstellar vehicles, if its interstellar its manned (digital mind is manned).

JWST is tuned to view in the deeper frequency ranges (deep red through mid-infrared) compared to Hubble, which is mostly viewing visible light (with some near-UV and -IR). This will allow it to see objects that are dimmer and farther, specifically high redshifted objects (objects moving away from us at stellar velocities) than Hubble was capable.

To take it further.....they are here. From here. From everywhere.

This greatest revelation is not far off....

Additionally? In the end (beginning?)..I think we will find they/them/us...are all...parts of a Greater Whole.

I remember long ago reading different UFO witnessed stories with descriptions as these craft “wobbling” and “oscillating”. That might account for and agree with different atmospheres these beings are coming from.

Added……Perhaps these possible crude examples below of the forces in our atmosphere acting upon their craft, that they are having problems with and find it hard to maintain steady inertial navigation flight at least at lower speeds i.e. hovering etc.

Back to the topic…….I’ll agree with other worlds having their own telescopes and beyond that to view with. Imagine this possibility…… a inhabited world that also has a crater pocked moon(s) and voided of any kind of atmosphere. Then they use a ginormous crater on the far side of the moon, thats near or at full concave and build it in itself a radio telescope style in the way the Arecibo telescope was built in Puerto Rico. Since their moon would have no atmosphere to disrupt scanning space….they would probably find what their looking for.

Conceivably….. on the far side of the moon and without an atmosphere and no atmospheric conditions that would decay, erode, i.e. humidity, moisture, storms, solar fluctuations etc., the crater sized telescope…..it should last up to thousands of years, if not longer…. IMO

I put this together to illustrate as an example (mentioned in my previous post)….for any moon in orbit of an alien world in the cosmos

Why one or the other?

My pet peeve -- discussing off planet beings clumped together as one.

What would the point be of large heads/eyes and spindly bodies?

Yes, I believe they are already among us.

We would make the ultimate cosmic reality TV gameshow i suppose.

If Aliens could see the entirety of what we have gotten up to throughout recorded history they would probably destroy the place via orbital bombardment long long ago.

Oh, I dunno.

I believe politics is everywhere. "Power, Money, Control".

I'd guess our evolvement is closely monitored. I doubt "they" care much about humans, but value the planet as a whole -- and its resources.

Personally i believe politics is broken Annee.

And by design no less.

Here is the thing about Earths resources, most of them are abundant thought-out the solar system and in the asteroid belt, no need to come down here to the arse end of our Suns gravity well to gather such.

Unless we are the ""resource"" i suppose, but if you can cross the vast distances between the stars in one piece, i imagine they could just build a far better human, rather than harvest our sorry arses if im honest.

Nice to spit bail possibilities all the same.

Different levels, planes of existance...all..aliens n us,.parts of....something Greater..

Supposedly, 'Earth' is the greatest Universal Reality Show of all time.
