I found this interesting, as during this so-called Pandemic the H has virtually been pulled from all the shelves, a friend was on it for arthritis then suddenly the Doctor changed the prescription. I thought this was suspicious as there was also an MSM campaign hitting it as a Coovid cure but when you find out how easy it is to make and what the ingredients actually are, it seems this cocktail of fruits seems to be banned by a lot of Pharmaceuticals as they negate the effects of said pharmaceuticals, especially vitamin C.

That was really interesting, all it is is boiled grapefruit and lemon peels ? How could anyone even patent it ? Funny how kids seem to naturally know chewing on citrus peels is good for them ! πŸ‹

Another tip. I understand you can make penicillin from cheese.

Make your own meds. Go for it. Since "Big Pharma" is evil.

Also, when you get sick from your own meds, don't go to the hospital. I understand those same "evil doctor people" are there too.

There is no quinine in lemon nor grapefruit peels. Let alone the synthetic version...

This is just dumb... he didn't even use yellow grapefruit, which is the one that inhibits enzymes in the liver to potentate medicines.

Far out..

Grow up, no one made any medicine here except a bitter vit c drink.

This can be served on a thin bed of lady fingers with a nice orange sorbet.

At least it's not as bad as the time , in high school, that I thought it would be a
good idea to make nitroglycerin in the basement. Turned all the copper piping down there green.

Yeah, been doing more research, however I know lemon and grapefruit are both very good for us and there does seem to be some health benefits to boiling the peels, why not ?

Also, a fun fact ….Raw garlic cloves When peeled and scored act like penicillin . One clove is equal to one dose of penicillin . The air has to interacts with the raw ,peeled and chopped Garlic for about 5-10 minutes , and it creates a natural medicinal substance . An enzyme called β€œAllicin β€œβ€¦ …. Nostradamus used this process and mashed rose petals with fresh dew on them , into the garlic , to cure Leprosy . He fed the paste by the spoonful to his patients several times a day ….. fun facts of nature !!!

Thanks for this, I was just talking to my niece the other day about that video.

What is important about this is that it being out there for anyone to make so simply and easily it has the potential to help those that can not afford it in the packaged form but can make it themselves, I wonder if doing it in a pressure cooker would be a better option though as the guy points out that you want to keep the steam in or you can lose a lot of the quinine with the steam.

you know that you healthcare system is dead when

everyone and their brother becomes a brujo, shaman, witch doctor, or herbalist

using common kitchen utensils and ingredients to formulate knockoff recipes of

formerly over the counter medications

that have been banned by the government

because they are more effective than the over priced remedies provided by your healthcare specialist.

Absolutely. Liposomal Vit C is the way to go if you really want to get as much into your system as possible, and that can be made at home.

The difference between the grapefruits though, that you have to be careful of. Yellow Grapefruit inhibits enzyme Cytochrome P450, which usually breaks down chemicals in your system, such as most rx and otc drugs and foods containing certain compounds. Which means, that you may be on a specific dose of a medicine, and if you take grapefruit juice then your liver is not breaking it down, and you are open to overdose.

Ruby Red grapefruit can still do this, but is a weaker inhibitor.

I don't knock the Video for providing a rich healthy drink, but calling it HCQ is just wrong on so many levels, and leads to mocking and ridicule towards people who do advocate for HCQ against covid, with comments such as "heerp they take horse paste!!11" and makes me want to reach into the monitor to slap them... :/

No one has banned Vitamin C.

Not, at least, to my knowledge.

But I don't grab a banana and make heroin out of it, so what do I know.

Erm 4 or 3 maybe, serious had to chuckle.

Quinine in the form that you or I know of it comes from the bark of a Tree but it can apparently according to this guy be found also in the skin of grapefruit, quinine is used as a flavour enhancer as well as it's medical property's since it is noted for it's extremely bitter taste.

Tonic Water though a soft drink these days actually began as a much stronger and far more potent quinine based tonic that would be mixed with Gin to make it more palatable and was used to combat Malaria and several other tropical diseases before there were proper cures developed for them, it had by that time become something of an acquired taste however and so Tonic Water albeit a far less affective consumer variety remained a staple of British and other nations bars since that time.

So explain to this guy why there is no Quinine in grapefruit, yes we extracted it from a tree's bark and perhaps that is the really good stuff but maybe, just maybe there is also quinine in other plants, notably bitter tasting ones?.

More on the subject.
principia-scientific.com...
pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov...

Now to be fair I also had not heard that it was present in Grapefruit and only knew that it came from the extract of a plant from south east Asia so you are not alone in this belief, however it's presence in the extremely bitter skin of a grapefruit is interesting and makes sense.

I make it at home and drink it every day, I use honey to flavor as is bitter to taste, the key is to cover the container as is boils and no uncovering until is done simmering to avoid the quinine from escaping with the steam.

When you train at something your professor or tutor tells you this is it fact don't question or argue and waste my time. You go out into the world and just repeat what he or she has said. There might be a few errors but who is going to spend the time and effort to go through everything. Some of the errors might not be so little.
