I came here looking for some discussion on the Ghislaine Maxwell guilty verdict, and I find nothing.

She's looking at a maximum sentence of 65 years I heard, and minimum 12 years.

Man that sounds utterly dreadful...

The obvious question that must be on everybody's mind...

Will she start naming names in exchange for a lighter sentence???

Ghislaine will...die...unexpectedly...of, ummm...COVID !!
Yes!
That's the ticket...

One way or another, she will NEVER be allowed to finger others in this Mossad shytshow...

Who knows she could have already struck a deal, unlikely but possible.

She never would have made it to court if that was the plan.

A little late for that.

Judge Alison Nathan has not set a date for Maxwell's sentencing, so she has time to consider her strategy — but the now-convicted felon would have to convince the FBI that she is telling everything she knows about everyone to have any chance of winning time off her sentence.

Maybe she thought there wasn't enough evidence to convict her. Her attorney's are planning to appeal.

No, the time for plea bargains is before the trial. Only thing she can gain by talking at this point is a prison snitch title.

I don't think they want names. She is the fall girl, and they have their conviction. Everyone else involved either had a free pass already, or they've bought one now.

There is absolutely no reason for her to name anybody now. She has already been convicted.

This trial was just the one to keep her off the street and in custody.

There were many more crimes to answer for, not the least of which is money laundering.

Let alone extortion and the stash of tapes held for that purpose.

This is just the start for her. I see many more court days in her future.

She could claim that James Comey is one of the people that would visit Epstein Island, and that his daughter didn't do her job in representing her. Mistrial, mistrial, mistrial.

It's a smart move, and would focus a lot of distracting attention of James Comey and his group of friends over at the FBI and DOJ.

Convince the FBI?
They were probably buying the jet fuel for the Lalita Express.

Who do the lawyers, judges, and courts work for ?
Who does ' The-System™ ', exist for, work-for, and protect ?

Her : or the ' Elitists™ that were supposedly her ' Clients™ ' ?

She's partly a sacrificial-lamb to be there in the public-eye, going through this.

Any bets that ' something ' happens, and she never does any time after the trial ?

Everyone she kept quite about will put money on her commissary account, she already has a reputation for "relations" with women. Money brings power and power gets you laid. And federal prisons are summer camps compared to state offerings. Once she adapts she find her arrangements quite enjoyable.

Talking only results in suicide.

It won't matter if she talks or not. What matters is that the people who are worried if she talks will just want to prevent it from happening. No need to be guilty, just need to have the possibility of being guilty. How many times have we seen the people she associated with act out with that mindset?

She is no threat to "them." "They" have the paper trail and other testimony of what happened. If she plays her roll as patsy she gets rewarded, if not another lifer gets rewarded for offing her.

No.

An appeal does not mean that, "I'm willing to talk now."
