In the 2016-17 academic year, he was a fellow at the Center of Theological Inquiry in Princeton, New Jersey, on a NASA-sponsored programme to consider the implications for human society and self-understanding of life elsewhere in the universe. To tell the truth I think humans are more than ready for aliens, at this time and age, actually I can not wait to see them.

I think Religion will find a way to survive the alien invasion on the creation theory.

prepare for Alien life on another planet?. We haven't evolved sufficiently as a species to be able to handle illegal alien life on this planet.

But are they fully vaccinated with all their boosters ?

We have not evolved enough to handle anyone that is different from us, illegal or legal, on this planet.

We kill anything that looks different, or we don't understand.

The last thing me should be doing is seeking out life on another planet.

It seems that if they wanted to, any extraterrestrial life that is found can be considered to lack God's spark of life, or lack a soul, or what have you. Those churches who can't handle non-Earthly life forms can just say it isn't really alive as it lacks God's divine spark or breath of life.

Another thing to consider. They must be fairly positive that there is ET life out there to begin worrying about the religious implications now. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the ET life was engineered on Earth, brought to Mars or some such place on a probe, then "discovered" as proof of alien life.

It’s going to be pretty funny if contact is made and it turns out the ET are even more religious/spiritual (as a species) than humans. That’ll cook the noodles of more people than the fact of finding out who we are not alone with.

Their first communication with humans is to terminate the non-believers in a sole creator, lol.

Maybe Jesus was an alien after all! If so then they seem like a good bunch and the sooner they lend a hand the better.

Don't see why anyone religious would have a problem with other life in the Universe to be honest , what sense is there for a God but build an entire Universe just to use one tiny piece of it for one island of creation , seems like a lot of effort wasted to me.

Maybe we'll finally find out what true religion is all about...

Most probably before 2030. But my gut says sooner...
There is a long list of potentially habitable exoplanets.
For the first time in the history of mankind we are actually capable off finding extraterrestrial life! (If this thing starts working fingers crossed).
