46 percent of Omi carriers are asymptomatic

This is quite comparable to 229E which from an earlier study was about 44 percent asymptomatic. The study finds North America has the highest and Asia has the least, suggesting North America has the most natural immunity through exposure and Asia has the least natural immunity through exposure.

This spooked Chinese policy makers who say foreigners who come into China could bring Omi on asymptomatic carriers and wreck havoc in China where natural immunity is low despite having forced vaccinated more than 80 percent of Chinese with inactivated Sinopharm and Sinovac.

"The high percentage of asymptomatic infections highlights the potential transmission risk of asymptomatic infections in communities," wrote Min Liu and colleagues at Peking University in China. Officials should screen for asymptomatic infections, and those who are identified "should be under management similar to that for confirmed infections, including isolating and contact tracing."

I can't be the only one that thinks Omicron seems to be playing out like just another common cold.

Even Kary Mullins, inventor of the PCR test, says they can't identify the virus.

“PCR basically takes a sample of your cells and amplifies any DNA to look for ‘viral sequences’, i.e. bits of non-human DNA that seem to match parts of a known viral genome. The problem is the test is known not to work. It uses ‘amplification’ which means taking a very very tiny amount of DNA and growing it exponentially until it can be analysed. Obviously any minute contaminations in the sample will also be amplified leading to potentially gross errors of discovery. Additionally, it’s only looking for partial viral sequences, not whole genomes, so identifying a single pathogen is next to impossible even if you ignore the other issues.The idea these kits can isolate a specific virus like COVID-19 is nonsense.”

Nope.

It's just that North America uses USELESS PCR tests to "diagnose" non-diseases in otherwise healthy people, and uses this useless PCR test on a greater proportion of it's population than Asia does.

Asymptomatic shed very well. Most common cold viruses transmit asymptomatically without coughing.
