five US planes leaving japan 　now

the trainiing execise now seems to be over in the China Sea

America is once again showibg its force in the China sea

they were high level aircraft
sorry i don't know which air craft they were
but our homes here did shook a bit.

I used to live in an area that would occasionally get full wings of fully loaded KC-130s flying max throttle around 5-8000 ft overhead.

If that was the planes over your house, I know EXACTLY what that shaking is like.

I quite enjoyed it, but my dogs thought it was the end of the world.

sadly China is getting more training exercises off of Taiwan

Japan has said that it it defend Taiwan

remember if china takes away the air space in the area

The really scary part of Japan's bold promise to defend Taiwan, is that Japan is not yet capable of fulfilling that promise, even with possible South Korean and Australian assistance, without immediate US Desert-Storm-like leadership, technology, and just plain numbers.

Is anyone here all that confident that the current administration would do anything helpful in such a situation?

it was a big exercise with ships,planes and subs with the Japanese military.
