It's no secret, these were parts for a high speed train line called HS2. It's a big load that needed an escort and it's extremely controversial.

We had one like that near where I live a few years back, it was a big transformer and the had to widen the roads to get it over the last mile.

That should make sense, but why then would the load be headed north - from kent to essex?
