Well they do say laughter is the best medicine, and as far as endings, all the best stories have a truly good one, this one looks pretty satisfactory from here.

Perhaps Stephen King sounds more realistic.

The concept of a permanent happy ending is specifically brought up in the Stephen King fantasy/fairy tale novel The Eyes of the Dragon which has a standard good ending for the genre, but simply states that "there were good days and bad days" afterwards.

Almost all religious philosophies are dual, this by design creates a schism between what people believe and how things actually are, natural philosophy.
