I think that people are pretty much acting as if the pandemic is over because the vax has brought the death rates down, at least among people who aren't seniors.

Schools are open, commuter numbers are going back to normal, sports venues are open again.

Here's my take on "WHY" that is probably the case.

People who have had the vaccine are probably more likely to engage in behaviors that expose them to risk of infection, versus people who are unvaccinated.

I do not have evidence to back that up, but it is a logical argument.

Pretty much but the vaccine is still offering protection to those groups (I'm one myself) - the main problem was the lockdowns designed to protect these groups delayed their care and decreased their ability to see Drs etc. There's been a big spike in preventable deaths in these groups in the UK and investigation launched into it (but with most beauracracy will mainly be a whitewash).

Having a condition with high mortality ratee means I live with the risk everyday and already accustomed to altering behaviour according to risk- I don't stop living life, just use a little common sense.

The 'don't kill grandma' stuff was created by a very shaddowy ex UK government department called the Behavioural Insights Unit or 'Nudge' as it was known - it specialised in abusing human behaviour to get the public to do or demans implementation of what the government wanted without the public realising.

The BIU also created the US campaign of blaming mutations on people who has chosen not to take the vaccine as a subliminal behavioural altering message to encourage vaccine uptake.

It recomended labelling people who didn't want to take the vax or couldn't for medical reasons 'refuseniks' as the phrase would conjure up images of dueling banjoes and backwoods places and other derrogatory images.

I never had a side or argument beyond my post.

I don't care about theories.

These vaccines aren't true vaccines. I thought everyone understood that, when they were rushed out within a year or two of the virus becoming a public issue.

Historically we've never had a "vaccine" for any disease rushed out for mass public distribution with such speed.
It's nice to have information, but the Covid awareness is at the highest level it ever needed to be. People should be allowed to make their own decisions about whether they want any particular "preventive treatment" for ANY disease, Covid shouldn't be any different.

When TRUE vaccines for Covid become available, that is when they should consider mandating. These lockdowns should stop, and mandates shouldn't come into play until the vaccines WORK.

That's my take, I will remain adamant that I am non-partisan, not because I don't have an opinion, but because this shouldn't be a political issue, yet. (When true vaccines are available, then it should be.) The people complaining about other people's health choices before that point should mind their own business.

We all take risks of death every day. There is a non-zero chance that you walk out your front door and contract EBOLA and BRAIN EATING AMOEBA today.

No hell no it isn't. And wasn't it so transparent the way they rolled
the virus out in the beginning. Over the top with how commercial
the media was giving us the information. I mean when the news
cast is interrupting the TV commercials to talk to us just "A little
bit more" about covid. Something is way off kilter.

I remember thinking many times the only thing missing was the parade
with ticker tape, high school marching bands from various locals and
Corona virus floats made using scarlet roses.

"We're all in this together..."

Two weeks of that crap, I was ready to fly bombing missions over
Germany in 1943. Just to get away from hearing it again. No
I'm serious hearing that over and over made me suspicious as
hell. I figured if they're driving that into our heads, it means NO
WAY are we all in this together. Which meant that there were
people who knew we weren't "All in this together".

And then what LMAO we start hearing reports that these ass hats
locking us down. Are throwing parties and dining out at restaurants
not wearing some stupid GD mask. Not locking down not believing
their own bullsh1t the least little bit. Which again just became
another point I was perfectly correct about.

I swear I been able to read these people like a children's fairy tale

My sentiments also, well said. And this fear has solely come from the insane media machine, with their big red scary graphics, dripping virus logos, deaths counts on every news bulletin, making people literally run into the roads and traffic to avoid passing someone due to fear.

Doctors usually do not want to lie to their patients that they have had for years and they know quite a bit about illnesses like this...but the younger ones have not yet gotten the experience.

The Pharma companies have not lied too much with the evidence, if they lie or supress information they become liable. It is the agencies overseeing our health industry that are twisting the evidence in my opinion. I do not blame Pfizer or Moderna for how things are being twisted. I mean, they are not coming out and going against fauchi, if they did these agencies would come down on them so they stay mute even when they hear the agencies twisting things out of proportion.

It is very important to see how their wording is when reading the test procedures and results of the testing, lawyers make sure to check the wording of the evidence. They can make it appear it says something when it actually doesn't. It is a deception, not really an outright lie.

I do not believe at least the mRNA vaccines are very good, after three months a vaccine should not be dropping as low as they are. Notice the tests ended at three months, I think they may have considered that the immunity would be dropping at three months, but there will not be any available evidence that says that they were thinking immunity would be crashing shortly. Deception in the medical and pharma industry is not new, it has been going on for thousands of years.
