Here we go! Kari's finally getting down to business --

"All elections shall be free and equal, and no power, civil or military, shall at any time interfere to prevent the free exercise of the right of suffrage."

Article two, Section twenty one of the Arizona Constitution.

The Maricopa County Recorder & the Chair of the Board of Supervisors run a "destroy MAGA" PAC

The Secretary of State refused to recuse from running her own election, where machines stopped working & they're counting votes 9 days later

These are untenable conflicts of interest.

Arizona, we are still in the fight.

Video message from Kari.

Testimony from poll worker at Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Meeting yesterday:

ARIZONA! Woman testifies to Maricopa County Board of Supervisors yesterday about how 200 extra ballots unexplainably ended up in circulation. Why were door #3 boxes not inspected? Must watch!!

Debbie Downer comment:

Why does this feel like the revelations that came out in the wake of the 2020 election mess ?

I cheer Kari not giving in to the pressure to quit, but wonder if it is yet another futile exercise considering that the government has not really displayed any interest in dismantling election fraud activity.

Cheers

I agree but this is the hand we've been dealt and such is the challenge before us... should we choose to accept it.

I'm kind of warming up to the idea of being the disenfranchised voter. And yelling it from the rooftops.

The biggest obstacle we face is the left/right politics of it all. I'm not at all happy about Trump announcing now, when all eyes should be on this election debacle. Trump couldn't have done the cheaters a bigger favor if he tried. Especially because it's that much easier to paint election integrity candidates as MAGA, making it all about Trump and not election integrity.

But it is what it is.

This is a tweet from Talonya Adams, the woman who successfully sued Katie Hobbs twice for racial and sexual discrimination in the workplace (Katie was her boss):

Interesting, my Mom and I were having coffee, when @AP declared Hobbs had won #AZGov. We discussed how opposition and adversity has a way of crushing people but a rare few it motivates, increases their resolve and propels them forward. We think #KariLake is the latter.

I love that she weighed in.

Hobbs 1,281,958
Lake 1,264,758

.6% difference.

Its also 17,200 votes difference.... just the number of Box 3 ballots the County told us they have...

Another drop. Still at .6%

What are the odds......

Is it crazy that I believe this slow drip of drops is at least partly to demoralize and discourage the voters?

You spelled voter suppression wrong.

I listen to Andrea Mitchell (MSNBC 11am Central) many days while driving. She sounds like her lungs are almost gone from smoking so much. But like other EVIL high-profile people, Andrea Mitchel won't go away.

Also, the disparity between governor and senate votes is 13,154. More for senator than governor.

That disparity is probably down to the federal-only ballots...

Does this mean those votes can't actually vote for a state office?

I thought so.

Have a look here. (Thanks Putnam)

SoS and Treasury total votes also exceed the Governor vote.

It's due various court rulings that basically determined federal laws apply to federal elections for federal offices... and state laws apply to statewide offices. So federal-only ballots were born.

That's how I understand it at least.

Hmmmm... that I cannot explain. Like so many things.

ETA: Maybe I can. Hobbs is a train wreck even to dems. Twice lost a sexual/racial discrimination lawsuit from a former female employee. She took part in a mock slave auction in high school. She couldn't say anything positive that Hispanics brought to the state. She refused to debate. She refused to recuse herself as head of elections.

So I can believe that many Dem voters did not vote for any one. If they couldn't bring themselves to vote for Katie... and couldn't stomach voting for Kari... I guess they'd vote for neither.

I get it and am taking your work for it as I've yet to look into it.

However, as I showed above SoS is 1k under and the treasurer 60k ish over.
