Not the modern version of slavery, stealing a person and making them a slave was a crime. Slavery in the OT period was indentured servitude to pay off debt or peoples conquered in war. Most the ancient world had slavery as a form to pay off debt, there was no such thing as credit or getting a loan for the common person.

Irrespective, you don’t understand christianity, you are suggesting every rule in the Old Testament and New must be obeyed by Christians and that’s just silly, sorry, no disrespect but that’s just dumb, it’s illogical and absurd.

They get those things from blogs and anti-religious websites. They don’t know the difference between the Mosaic covenant and the New covenant in Messiah.
