Had a member of family ask for help because their computer would not connect to internet sites, other than Google, and that was only occasionally.

Finally reset the firewall to default and upon boot, a message appeared that some program that "performed market research" could not connect.

That program was monopolizing the entire connection and is considered undesirable, although not destructive. Name is "premier opinion".

Is that good enough? A random number generator. Nothing is more RANDOM than that!
