... the Dendera light

...

The problem is, there's no real evidence of anything resembling lightbulb manufacture of any sort in AE.

It's far more likely that what the so-called Dendera lightbulb scene portrays is a scene from myth, the creation of the world (Fr.)

...

I think the Egyptians had found another "Dendera" picture somewhere, and their priests made up a bunch of mumbo jumbo to explain it.

...

Creation myths, and scenes from them, are not "mumbo jumbo" . They help to explain how people viewed the world.

Harsomtus was the Greek name for Har-smA-tAwy, or Horus.

More on what was depicted at Dendera:

The reliefs in the southern crypt (shown above) depict Harsomtu, son of Hathor and Horus, with priests assisting the birth and extracting the waters of inundation which were said to issue from his mouth. He is shown as a falcon, a child (he is a child god), and as a serpent. The snakes coming from the lotus symbolize fertility. The snake was the first animal to rise from the primeval waters in the same way as Harsomtu, like the sun-god Re, burst from the lotus (Wallis Budge).

Wasn't there some controversy about a German crew scraping some of the graffiti and getting it tested for age?

Quite a lot, starting in 2013.

Some description of the affair appears here.

And more here.

It appears that no testing of the samples from U23 could be carried out, because the samples weren't large enough.

They were two students. And they are by definition thieves. And they didn't get enough to date. And the paint is on limestone that contains carbon that's billions of years old (contaminated.) And the paint is from a chamber that has seen illumination from burning torches innumerable times (contaminated.) And they didn't use proper procedures so they themselves contaminated their own sample.

They were two students.

...

They were described as such in various descriptions at the time.

But in fact they were both in their mid-to-late-40s, as explained in links here (scroll down).

But they did find some wood from the shaft of the queen's chamber and it dated five hundred years older than the mainstream age of the GP

TBMK, neither Gorlitz nor Erdmann found any wood.

What has come to light much more recently is one of the Dixon relics.

The factors and problems playing a part in the dating of the wood are discussed here .
