What bothers me the most concerning the replies of some of the most respected members, who do their level best to create a facade of intelligent, scientifically skeptical, rational thinking, is that they almost always completely ignore the witness testimony as being factual.

It bothers others how eye witness testimony is given elevated importance. Often followed by the statement how it is used to convict in a court of law. But time and time again eye witness testimony is unreliable on its own.

...Although witnesses can often be very confident that their memory is accurate when identifying a suspect, the malleable nature of human memory and visual perception makes eyewitness testimony one of the most unreliable forms of evidence....

NCSC

In this particular case. Some very strange things happened or are claimed to have happened. But the corroborating evidence is not very good. No photo or video evidence when the 'witnesses' specifically went out to observe what was going on. Along with assumption and speculation that this military exercise actually involved something extra-terrestrial or paranormal.

...It’s personal to me because of several close encounters I’ve had with craft. And no one can tell me that what I was explainable by normal, known Earthly events.

Got any photos or video? Care to explain how you arrived at your conclusions? Saying you "just know" might not be a very good answer.

So prattle on. Assume you know more than the person that saw it up close.

Why would a person who saw something close up be the absolute authority on what was seen? We know from studies that people "don't know". Here's a simple example of the only person not knowing what was happening was the one closest to the action.

...you feel the need to find these alternatives because…well because….it just couldn’t be Alien.

Now you are assuming what other people 'feel'. I can't speak for others. But I want to see incontrovertible evidence and proof of something alien before I accept it. We can't just believe what other people tell us!!!

This all happened on a US/UK base that had nuclear weapons in storage there as well as normal weapons.

you would think that there would be pictures or video from the cameras on base let alone the cameras the teams took with them.

heck even normal cops carry cameras with them for the most part.

a craft was said to have been right over the WSA and sending down lasers into the area with the nukes, you cant tell me for ONE second if this really happened as advertised the US/UK governments don't have crystal clear pictures of this event.

at the time this happened we were still in the cold war, the security around the secret nuclear weapons that this aircraft knew exactly where they were and allegedly was feet off the ground.

you would think that with all the governments all of a sudden sharing UFO stuff that they could just show us a video and pictures from that night and not some out of focus NV video or blurry FLIR videos.

There are no nuclear weapons stored in Wales. Are you getting confused with Rendlesham in 1980?

This case happened in a different country - Wales, 36 years later, in February 2016.

Although I have found some more information which may or may not be of use. As yet I haven't had time to sift through it.

indeed

they all blend in together lol

that being said, this case clearly has allot of the same elements(other than time travelers downgrading binary into people) as RFI has.

There is close military ties and a downed ufo.

the lights the bigger craft let out seem like advanced decoys, they worked well it seems from the story.

if this craft wasn't a US/UK project the aircraft would be interceptors armed to escort the unknown aircraft to the ground one way or another.

we scramble armed fighters when a commercial jet has issues, but we don't scramble armed fighters to a clear and present danger of unknown origin?

i know the woman said she heard explosions but there just isn't evidence for and normal ordnance being used, like craters or fragments of said weapons and maybe even the craft.

hellfire missiles and 20MM cannon fire would do alot more damage to the area than a few slightly burned trees and the main weapon on an Apache is the cannon and that has a distinct sound that can be heard for miles around and there is no reports of that, only a few booms.

they could have been sonic booms from some unseen aircraft.

the inclusion of what i can only assume to be electronic warfare aircraft circling these craft just orbiting around them until the decoys were released says to me that they were ready and waiting or even following this event from the start.

the larger aircraft could be a rigid body lighter than air 'blimp' with all sorts of survalance and the apparent ability to launch drone aircraft. not that far out of an idea and you add some military training or testing and now you have a good UFO story in the works.

its to bad the women from the Cash-landrum event are passed, i would be curious to hear their opinion on the larger craft.

remember the CL ufo also had some propulsion strangeness when it got close to the ground and had all sorts of escort aircraft.

the US and the UK(Whales and Scotland) do alot of testing together so it would not surprise me if this was some where on the family tree of the typical BT's we see today

Perhaps contacting these folks even though the post is from 2018...the UFO network may still be worth some additional info.....

For those thinking it was "part of a military exercise" and nothing more. There is are zero operational reasons for having an AWACS flying so low for its dome to be clearly visible to someone from the ground. That defeats almost the entire purpose of an AWACs airframe. To my mind , this reeks of another "Rendlesham" with the Brits trying again to force something to happen over the space of a few nights and having "the door slammed in their face" as it were, yet again.

I think it's definitely linked to Radar and I suspect it began with "Operation Cobra" which was run from....Orford Ness. It cost a fortune and hardly lasted more than year operationally, the only seeming outcome, an international treaty to ban certain types of Radar.

It also wouldn't surprise me one iota if, the spate of Marconi suicides were also related to UK research into UFOs and that the frequencies the techs were mucking around with had a profound psychological effect on them.

I think the difference between the Brits and I suspect a couple of other countries and the US is this. The US has denied, mostly because of internal politics" the "wyrd nature" of UFOS. They have a battle in the US military where, a strong element see them as "demons" and those who see them as "nuts and bolts" whereas, the UK has long accepted them as something in-between. As such, I have a feeling much of the recent chatter in public is the US military somewhat miffed at being left behind and trying to acquire huge funds to investigate. However, this is not an issue where, simply "throwing money at it" can solve anything, it needs people of a sort the US simply doesn't want to cater for and when they have reached out to them in the past, they either simply ignored them or worse still, hung them out to dry for political expediency

The "demons" crowd in the UK were mostly old men who were expunged and side-lined by the early 80s. If you want an explanation of why Lord Hill-Norton was never briefed on these matters, he was a "demon" believer.

I don't believe that the Brits have ever reached further than being able to make one appear in some "Thin Place". as I don't believe the intelligence behind the phenomenon has any interest in a dialogue with the military of any nation.
