New Forums?

Good Morning ATS,

I am formally requesting a couple new forums be created. I’ve been reading about stocks and forecasting for a good while, but noticed a big jump in interest with investing lately. I was thinking we could bring some more ATS users out of the woodwork and get away from the politics a little. I feel it’s something that could bring the community together as well with all the division as of late. Here are a couple forum topics I was thinking.

General Stock Chit Chat
Stock Forecasting
Penny Stocks
Long Term Growth Stocks


Obviously I’m not sold on the titles or how the subjects are broken up, just wanting to throw out a new idea for ATS. What does the rest of ATS think. Will it be a dud?

I think its a good idea. I just looked over the forums, and there’s nothing finance related. There seems like there’s so much turmoil right now with the global shutdowns and restructuring, resetting, building back, new so called normals.....

Even what and how to invest is changing, so much talk about ESG, environmental social governance - like it or not its there....

Probably a good time to bring in some discussions on financial stuff.

Very good suggestion, a stock market/investing forum would probably be a bigger benefit on here than people realize.

Personally, I think a general finances forum is a good idea. Creating all those forums, not that much, as I don't think they would have enough posts to justify separating those more specific topics into different forums.

Sure , open one's self up to legal matters .

Why not just have a generic "Economics Board"?

Perhaps we could have a roulette forum?

Or horse racing.

I hear that they can be profitable.
