Looking for old post/docs

I tried searching as best my memory would allow but I am coming up short. I remember reading a post that lead me to a website/blog about FTL communication discovered during mars satellite or rover missions a long time ago. I want to say I remember it being leaked from a guy who worked on them or was involved in the comms side. It may not have been mars related, just satellite related....I hate getting old.

The closest I can remember and it was not ATS was two electrical engineers who supposedly accidentally stumbled on a method of compressing frequency modulated transmission so that it actually travelled faster than light, however it was a claim that appeared then disappeared fairly quickly back I think in the 90's.
