I totally failed, and I'm sorry (not really) if I seen it asked...

Who is your first, please don't say you...?

Everyone else.

I see you didn't add any seafood stock. Did the fresh seafood provide enough?

Thank you.

The clams and mussels, which need to be freshly purchased, provide enough.

Cool recipe.

I used to do a similar recipe when I cooked, which I occasionally still make, wear you place seared scallops over a fava bean puree with brown butter sauce.

It's worth making, I had leftovers the next day and it was just as good.

I guess that means DB gave me crabs two days in a row, I never learn...

Yeah I saw that I meant if it were kicked up wondered if it would over power everything or just give it a little more heat or would you suggest something else?

You can go with a decent amount more, I always add quite a bit to my own serving.

Hah! This post is awesome. It truly is a treat living in the PNW. bigfoot country! I wouldn't eat that though

You wouldn't eat Cioppino or Bigfoot? I'm willing to expand my gustatory horizons and eat an actual cryptid if someone mails me the carcass.

We don't have crabs, and I can't get them no matter how hard I try.

Okay, there are deep water coral crabs and land crabs and soldier crabs, but none of them a savory option (although I've tried all of them in the interest of science and self-preservation.

I'm going to apply your recipe to Spiny Lobsters. It's the season. I feel lucky. I usually brown them in coconut oil and then let them simmer in thyme, garlic and coconut milk. I'll let you know how it turns out.

A story of sharing between friends, how lovely!

With a spicy sense of humour to boot too!

Well done, and thanks for the entertainment.

That'll work. Lobster is an excellent substitute.

Exactly.

Plus my boy sent them to me. He's a good guy. DB grows on you. Like a fungus.
