MSNBC is trying hard to convince viewers and listeners that it is a civil investigation. Not Criminal.

Easier to do when it’s “for taxes” and not corruption, underage sex, and drug use. What do I know?

Ya know, when dad is trying become 46 and all, it’s just taxes and stuff

However, now that Attorney General Barr has retired (again), there is increasing talk within the Justice Department of appointing a Special Counsel to investigate the growing evidence that Hunter Biden has broken several Federal laws.

Yeah, there's always talk of something happening, right?

Let's see what the facts are when politics are laid aside.

If Hunter broke the law, let him be tried and if found guilty punished.

If not, let's get on with the business of the country.

Just for the record ...

[W]hat does this report tell us?

On one level, not much. The headline chapter—Hunter Biden and Burisma—repackages largely known facts related to how U.S. government employees dealt with Hunter Biden’s position on the board of the Ukrainian company but offers no evidence that his role had any impact on U.S. foreign policy or the anti-corruption advocacy of Vice President Biden. As Andrew Desiderio and Kyle Cheyney of Politico wrote, the report “is largely a compilation of previously public information—some of it rehashed anew by witnesses who already testified during the House’s impeachment inquiry last year.”

The shocking revelation: Hunter Biden made lots of money from being on the Burisma Board. This had no effect on anything except providing five years worth of nothingburger. Oh, and there's zero evidence that Biden broke any laws.
