In 1992, Congress passed the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act, which gave 25 years for all records to be released. The Act reached termination on October 26, 2017, when the remaining records were due to be released.

That was what Trump was going to 'release', it had little to do with Trump.

But, he didn't release them, did he? He held them back at Presidential order.

Archivists have complained that more than 500 are still unreleased and 15,000 of them were heavily redacted, and essentially useless.

If you want to find the truth, don't look to Trump.
