Rest in peace Sean Connery.

Great actor.

And best Bond ever.

And then some UpIsNowDown, and then some.

A great movie The Untouchables.

I liked him in one of his more obscure movies "Zardos"

Ah, but such a versatile actor; so much more than just Bond.

The Hunt for Red October was my favorite Connery film.

Sad to lose such a towering figure, one of the great actors who made his mark in a time when film making and the movie industry was so so much different.

Most underrated film of his, in my opinion, was "Rising Sun" with Wesley Snipes.

Sad news, but when he retied from film there were rumors it was for health reasons. And the longer we went without seeing anything of him, the more likely that became. I was just thinking the other day that it had been a long, long time since we'd seen anything of him.

I hope he went peacefully.

It's a half-decent innings.

The mans a legend over here.

Personally, i hope he went kicking and screaming into that vast night fighting the good fight.

Yeah, me to. If it wasn't for Sean Connery and Clancy Brown, Highlander wouldn't have been as classic as it was.
Christopher Lamberts Scottish accent was horrendous!!

I'm not saying he didn't live to a ripe old age, but there are ways and ways to do that.

My own grandmother was in her early 80s and sharp as a tack, but her body gave up on her by degrees. In the end, it was a constant round of medical stays trying to put on thing together faster than another would fall apart, and it just flat wore her out.

Or there's the other way where your body might be willing, but your brain gives up.

Or there are the ones who keep it all more or less together until very shortly before they go and pass on peacefully with little fanfare still in mostly full possession of their mind and body.

The third way is the one I hope he had.
