That's not the current model, but to survive my OP you sent the sun under earth.

On this model sunrise happens everywhere from China to NYC all at once.

It doesn't explain the Arctic half year day or night phenomenon either.

Round earth totally explains all this seamlessly tho.

I applaud your efforts but they are futile.

I guess a flat earth disc could shift up and down as the sun goes round and round so that the flat earth gets light eventually on all surfaces.

It's the ultimate proof because it requires nothing but observations and questions.

I dont need a rocket or NSA classified access or anything.

I can walk outside and say "hmmm how's this possible?".

There is no geometric way to show a flat earth where the bottoms of clouds are illuminated plus explaining how sunrise happens at proceeding times all around the circle and having much slower view angles at the Arctic and Antarctic.

The only model is spheroid rotating around the Sun like the other planets do.

It's ok to personify God to make sense of our language but truly you must appreciate the vastness of the implications here. It goes way beyond ego/persona of a divine source.

That's a limitation we impose because we cannot open our minds.

This is why we say it's "the Invisible God" (and indivisible).

But it's invisibility is due to its overarching nature that encompasses all things and non things.

It's subtle and etheric, a substrate on which all substance relies.

Yep, was too focused on the detail of the clouds, and forgot the way bigger picture. A problem I seem to have a lot really. Something will usually come along and slap me upside the head to reset the perspective though lol

The property of curvature is connected to the topology of the coordinate system.

Well if I consider that the distance in every direction from me is the same - infinite - than I must be at the center of the universe.

In fact, every point in the universe is in that same predicament.

That must mean only 1 locality exists, the center of the graph. But every point is the center and can only escape that by being referenced by a 2nd and 3rd plot.

So the whole universe is 1 infinitesimal singularity point collapsing inward so deeply that it expands infinitely inwards as if there were infinite space.

And there is because I can divide any number over and over for eternity. It's Turtles all the way down in the arts of mathematical division.

All this is occurring in 1 location, the universal black/white hole (Holos in Greek means Universe and is where our word Whole came from).

This is how all superstrings connect and we get instant reactions at distances that it would take light millennia to traverse.

This post is intended to be a mental exercise and to get you to reconcile abstract reality with physical reality as they are paired despite the paradoxes that creates between the yin yang dichotomy.

Normally I like to say "When you find the Truth you'll know it because it creates paradoxes".

This holds for most things in general, though there are always exceptions to every feeble rule we think must apply but probably doesn't because we aren't seeing the full picture yet.

If you look at ANY Moon or Planet through a telescope or otherwise, then you will see that they are round. So, why would the Earth be different?
