The less people who wear masks, the less people who observe social distancing, the less people who follow the rules, the longer this will go on and the stricter lockdowns will become.

You, sir, are fighting against our freedoms, not for them.

Ever see video from China before covid? They all wore masks to fight pollution.

So tell me oh wise one, why did they have an outbreak if the masks are supposed to protect?

Makes one wonder how we all got played.

Nope.
One or two, or even a few in a crowd may have wore a mask.

Certainly not all of them.

So tell me oh ignorant one, why did an outbreak occur if hardly anyone was wearing a mask?

Go ahead and you tube or google the streets of China anytime after 2012.
And then send a pic of you eating that crow.

Nope

Its you that should provide one to prove your point.
Lets see a crowd of chinese people and everyone wearing a mask. Pre 2020 of course
Actually lets see a few, just to prove your point.

I'll help you out, here is an example
www.theguardian.com...

Thats a handful not a crowd
Here's a crowd 2016

I asked the other poster for a few photo's of a crowd wearing masks pre 2020. A crowd. Post another 3 with more than 20 people in them, you know like a crowd. Not a handful

I think you’ve been watching too much news.

The cure for covid is to turn off your tv and phone.

I don't think sticking our heads in the sand is the answer to anything.

There is no cure for COVID 19 as of yet, and there may not lightly be one anytime soon.

The fact of the matter is that prudence and precautionary measures are here to stay for the time being.

And that's just the colour of our day.

And when they roll out the collars and chains it will be the minions like yourself who line up like sheep.

There you go being so presumptuous. LoL

Never been a sheep or a follower in my life Grenade.

Don't mean im silly enough not to wear a mask in public or on public transport with dangerous pathogen on the lose.

Pray-tell how will the wearing of masks lead to the roll-out of collars and chains?

Hyperbole much?

Better to have it buried in the sand as opposed to burying it up the governments ass.

You think a face covering and some hand sanitizer stops a virus? Ok good luck with that.

Watch as they erode your freedom while delaying the inevitable.

Yet its my choice to wear a mask nothing to do with government rhetoric and lot to do with simple common sense.

Nope but with the incubation period being so long i do think masks retard the spread of the pathogen where people who are infected yet don't know they are is concerned.

It may also help reduce the dose of the disease or infection transmitted.

Cultivating a virus in a hot, humid environment directly connected to your respiratory system while restricting airflow then rebreathing it will not reduce the “dose” of the disease.

Health experts say the evidence is clear that masks can help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and that the more people wearing masks, the better.

It's up to you to beleve as you wish.

And your still not telling me how the wearing of masks will lead to the roll-out of collars and chains?

When you start throwing away liberty for government provided security for every inch you give they will take a mile.

Come back to me in 5 years when you need your vaccination passport everywhere you travel, when you need it to work. Come back in 10 years when it’s easier just to have a chip with your medical and financial information embedded and scanners everywhere tracking your every move. 5G requires masts every 100m or so, chances are it will be part of the infrastructure used for true big brother surveillance, it will be able to track your position within inches.

Have your doubts? There’s a guy called Edward Snowden, you should look him up.

Just because the chain and collar is invisible doesn’t mean they can’t yank on it.

Again, I’ve never once said it didn’t stop the spread. I said masks likely make the symptoms worse for carriers. Something that not one person has addressed. The inability to read due to blind acceptance of authority seems to blinker the ability of people to rationalise.

I’m sure it’s a great idea to have that all stuck to your face. You’re aware of the function of coughing and sneezing?

Also the virus is at microscopic levels undetectable by your camera.

I wear my mask when I enter public places, like the local Co-op and the off-licence. As the local mandatory rules suggest. It's not hard to realise that if people are smart and sensible we can beat this thing. Sadly people are not smart and sensible, they're not all wearing masks, the rules are flouted and not enforced and cases in London are going up again. I try and stay two metres away from people. Again sadly many people don't do the same.
Masks are not a cure. They just restrict the spread. Wearing one should be a public duty. I'm thinking about getting one that says "If you're not wearing a mask you're a selfish imbecile". But that would require too small a font size to get that all on it.

In terms of getting this stuff you are soooo wide of the mark that its laughable.

I'm starting to think that you're being as ass for the sake of it, that or you are as thick as pig #.

The whole point is that its on your face and not all over everyone else

Then you take the mask off, wash it and wash your face, which kills the virus.
