Active fires in Canada v. active fires in the US west. Does it look like climate change? If it is, then we ought to find out what Canada has done to stop it at the border.

Even if it’s not arson, climate change has very little to do with it.

The real issue is the absolute crippling of the forestry service by moronic state legislatures. Once upon a time dry, dead wood was destroyed in controlled fires. An international standard for controlling one of the principle causes of forest fires.

Naturally, of course, city types were concerned the fires would harm some bird or snake that nobody outside of Bel-Air could concievably give less of a crap about. So not only were intentionally hamstringing regulations brought in on the control fires, the forestry service has had it’s budget constantly slashed.

Oregon did the same but much worse since they also intentionally destroyed the lumber industry since that is bad for the environment. Obviously uncontrollable state wide wild fires are a clear sign of environmental improvement.

Something very similar happened in Australia, much to the same result.

Of course none of it is helped with masked lunatics starting fires for the glory of social justice, black lives, and the Chinese Communist Party.
