You are complicating things. OOA doesn't concern other hominids at all. They aren't part of the theory in any way, other than it being stipulated that
they left Africa millions of years before anatomically modern humans did. The theory is entirely about anatomically modern homo sapiens.
Plenty going on with these other hominids, but there's a reason I use "other" there. No matter what some article says about any hominid find outside
of Africa, until they find a VERY old anatomically modern human outside of Africa the OOA theory doesn't even come into play. There are other theories
that do, but in the OOA, the only impact they can have is
maybe another timeline change as to when we left might have to be made.
