The Campfire Surprise

All week campers were prepped. The camp swimming pool, cold with mountain water would soon have a heater.
State of the art, shipped all the way from Switzerland.

The cabin with the best record would do the unveiling at end of week campfire.
Excitement ran high.

Finally there it was, sitting on the campfire stage, a big box with postage from far away.

The winning cabin was called forth and excitedly the campers ripped into the big box.

Enclosed were instructions.

1 open box
2 empty enclosed bricks into campfire
3 heat to desired temperature
4 drop bricks in pool

Camper riots ensued.

IT's a true story Chief. I was the camp entertainment director and lead the campfires for several summers.
We used that gag a number of times when only new campers were there and only once did it lead to anarchy.

Haha...I like that idea.
