The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is investigating a deadly shooting near the “Capitol Hill Organized Protest” (CHOP) zone Monday morning.
Police responded to the area around 3 a.m. and found a Jeep Cherokee "riddled with bullets," Police Chief Carmen Best said.
Susan Gregg, a spokesperson for Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, said early Monday an unidentified male and a 14-year-old were transported to the hospital in critical condition after being shot. The Seattle Police Department later said the unidentified male is 16 years old.[
Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant joined a large group of protesters outside the CHOP zone who marched to Durkan's house on Sunday afternoon.
One of the demonstrators said, "We came down to Jenny Durkan's mansion to bring the demands of the movement and of the families who have been impacted by police violence to her doorstep as she seems to not be able to hear our demands any other way."
What are your thoughts ATS on the ongoing situation in Seattle?

Get the independent investigative journalists in there. Get footage, get the real story. Broadcast it everywhere about the true goings on in there.
Good or bad.
Let the footage speak for itself. After all, isn't that all that is needed nowadays?
Just a video to sway public opinion?
Screw the legal system?
Isn't that how is works now, no judge, no jury, no peace?

Bookmarked, until........it gets erased from history. Like it never even existed. Yet, I imagine the Proud Boys vids will remain intact.

She also probably has a direct line to Obama and has been taking orders from him.

In statement is was ended. but in execution not so much. Seems that the mayor wafled on it . City official went in they had bulldozer to take down the barricades then they compromised on using the bulldozer.
Basically not taking immediate and decisive action on the morning they went in has allowed the chaz to linger on.
