A lot of us went there already. I just joined yesterday.

That's a good place to be.

I use discord for investing and it seems its a forum like platform. you can creat channels for whatever topic you want. ALso slack has the same thing.

I tried it and the first post that popped up showed me that it is not the site for me.

It may be that I am just an old broad, but when a thread title is written like a name for a foul mouthed comedic skit, I doubt if there will be any intellectual content.

The day of true civil communication and the sharing of ideas, with the hope of learning, or at least understanding, may be over, by way of the internet, but I am lucky enough to still find it in local community venues.

It was good while it lasted.

Thank you for doing this. This site has been my go to source for news. I don't bother looking at the TV. I'm wondering if there is another place for me to keep up on world events. This is sad. I started following this site it seems like it was at least 15 years ago. Possibly more. God be with you all. Hope to see you all somewhere along the way.

That's what I am guessing.When I "joined" I got a message
that said welcome back mamabeth! Then,wham,I got a message
that my account had been suspended or banned.I can't remember
when I joined,it had to have been at least 5 or more years ago.
