I agree with a lot of that. I think that everything from communism to socialism to capitalism is simply used to either garner support, or provoke
negative responses. Its catered to whatever social group they wish to target.
This corporate-political thing is kind of its own monster, in my opinion. It uses decades of marketing research coupled with government manipulation
research, and then directs the population through mass coordinated media efforts and automated/AI controlled bot networks.
It is a very, very tricky thing to fight. Particularly when social groups are directed to believe they just have to cpnvert the "other side" to their
ideology, and failing that.. That violent responses will achieve their ideals.
I think it all boils down to two things (well, kinda
):
Information Warfare
Centralized Dependency
The first is, IMO, a completely lost cause within the established system. The only way to minimize its impact is to avoid it. Meaning cease
participation in social platforms (twitter, facebook, snapchat, instagram, etc.) and stop watching & reading the news. We all gather round the
kindling they provide and start the fires ourselves.
The conversations and interactions that
need to take place are the ones like we are having right now. We arent sitting here battling it out
with "sources" and "links" to mainstream authorities. I am speaking to you, and you are speaking to me without the manipulated middleman of so called
"trusted sources."
The second can be fought by actually building the systems for self-sufficiency with modern technology. There are a lot of ways to do it, but I think
the most effective are gardening and specifically aquaponics. Using solar/wind/hydro (depending on your location) to produce self-sufficient power.
And, using things like 3D printers and CNC to enable manufacturing capabilities in each of our homes. Many have been directed to think of "automation"
solely in terms of how it will affect things like jobs according to
corporate implementation. The concept of using it in all of our homes to
gain autonomy is overlooked (intentionally, imo).
Many dont realize that things like 3D printers and CNC can actually use the same platform, or that aquaponics is actually much less expensive and much
less effort than they imagine. Self-sufficient power production is framed almost entirely in the "Green" conversation, or solely financial.. So that
people bicker and argue along
those lines. But, the true strength lies in our ability to gain energy independence on a per household basis.
Honestly, if we dont negate this mass centralized dependence from gaining more ground, and allow the manipulation to run rampant through all of our
minds.. I fear the US will fall, and the West will follow. What happens after that, I dont believe any of us are going to like regardless of our
feelings & beliefs.
Sounds pretty dramatic, I guess.. But even if Im completely wrong, ceasing participation in the mass manipulation and gaining self-sufficiency in our
homes will have extraordinary benefits. And, if Im right, I think its the only way to really stop what is coming. Bit of a societal/cultural Pascal's
Wager I suppose.
