Latin America now being hit hard by Coronavirus mass graves being filled

In Brazil, the health service is ill-prepared; in truth it is already overwhelmed.

They can't fight this virus - instead they are digging thousands upon thousands of graves in the city of Sao Paulo.

The pictures filmed for Sky News by cameraman Eduardo Duwe at the Vila Formosa cemetery, the largest in Latin America, are simply staggering.

Jair Bolsanaro , president of Brazil still calls the pandemic " a little flu " .

The health service in Brazil is already overwhelmed .

Mass grave sites are being filled with bodies and not just of the old and vulnerable.

The population at large does not take it seriously , until someone in the family is hammered by it .

When there's no healthcare left to have , this virus will kill a third of the population.

They haven't been given that information .

No one is allowed into Brazil .

The story is the same across much of Latin America.

Western mass media broadcasts continue to concentrate only upon home news .

A grave site worker everyday posts on social media a picture of his fellow workers saying " stay at home , this is not a joke ".

See the pictures in the link , it's not a joke , stay at home .

When the ' economy ' reopens it will be in a fundamentally different paradigm . It will no longer be a global economy . Enjoy your last bananas and Brazil nuts , your cans of corned beef , that you'll see for quite a while.

The trouble with a pandemic such as this , left uncontrolled it spreads like wildfire , these are the very words the article linked uses , that's what it is doing right now .

Coronavirus has not peaked in Brazil as yet. There's no testing , just more and more mortality and morbidity . There's quite a few million people in Latin America for it to go through first. You will see as time goes on the true scale of this disaster , and worldwide . Don't imagine the story won't be the same , all over the world , especially where weaker health systems easily collapse. And then there's the famines to deal with, or die from.

This is Not scaremongering , it's reality unfortunately.
Short of a miracle or exceedingly good local management , reality, really is going to hammer home this year. You I nor anyone at all will be taking anything much for granted anymore , by The Time reality pans out. So much of life was already irrelevant , and many many people are going to realise just how much irrelevance they previously filled their lives with.

Latin governments have a different outlook on things then other government. You need to remember, the average citizen goes to the hospital. The Rich, powerful, elite have the hospital brought to them. With that said, unemployment is way up in most of Latin America, and as a governing body, if the virus kills some people off, that actually increases the standard of living for the living. If they don't waste resources trying to keep the poor alive, then there will be more resources for the poor that are left. It's cruel and heartless, but to me its the reality alot of governments are taking. (Just my opinion).

LOL what has no basis, in reality, is the fearmongering media using scare tactics because it gets people staring at the screen and sends people of into a tizzy. Look at MUH video and not the actual numbers.
LOL don't make me pull up examples of the media pulling fast ones by overdramatizing the dangers like reporters sitting in boats on water when it two feet deep in Houston, or pretending the be blown away by hurricane-force winds when two ladies are walking their dogs in the background.
